Toad was woken up by a collection of flies gathering on him. He ate a couple and than started hopping through ship

"Hey." Zach responded, examining the desert.

"What can you tell me about this place?" Blondie asked after a bit.

"We've got a dictatorship in power, a town burned to the ground by them, and an unknown number of soldiers at their command. Oh, and this planet isn't Earth. That about sums up what I know. You?"

Toad came up to the group. "You guys need to get taller ceilings. I almost hit my head on the ceiling"

"I know less than you, which is nothing." Blondie said. "Interesting. Dictatorship on one side, unhappy citizens on the other, and me right in the middle." he said, looking somewhat contemplative.

Toad squatted down next to Blondie "You guys forgot a very important element to this planet. There's a lot of desert here. Oh and there's flies" He said snatching up another fly with his tongue

"Usually is." Blondie replied nonchalantly.

 

[FPSfanatic]

"Damn, when you put it like that, this is the fourth corrupt regime I've had to help put down. Should be same old, same old eh?" Zach reaches into a pocket and pulls out a small pad, and a pencil. He starts sketching.

"There ain't as much variety in life as you might expect." Blondie said.

 

[Demonjazz]

"Flies or the desert. Or flies being in the desert or perhaps flies being in the desert while on an alien planet"

"Usually is." Blondie replied nonchalantly.

This was aimed at Toad.

 

[FPSfanatic]

"Sorry froggy, just running through the plans. And yeah, seems like life likes to repeat itself a lot. I usually hope to be dead when it starts repeating." Zach aimed this last part at Blondie.

Blondie just gave a small shrug.

"People call me Blondie. Don't have a place I'd say I'm from." Blondie said.

Valvatorez strolled out onto the deck. Fenrich followed, like always, though he kept more distance than normal. Valvatorez made his way towards one of the railings and looked out into the desert before speaking to Fenrich, though he did not look at him. His voice sounded similar to what it was previously, but somehow different. Sensitive people might say that it almost sounded as if even his words had more power now.

"Fenrich, you've done what I did not think possible, and were able to feed me human blood. Though you have sullied my honor, I cannot ignore the fact that you are as capable as ever..."

Fenrich bowed, but did not look up "My Lord, if I may speak freely, you shouldn't even have to abide by your promise... it was nullified once that girl-"


"Enough! We will discuss this more later..."

Blondie glanced over and Val and Fen, but stayed silent.
