@Nile. To hell with it then, seeing as how I can't keep up with any enemy character. Unless Nailik has anything against it (since he has partial control and even full control). Is there absolutely nothing on the castle that has any defense against this character or detection at least?

Balthier leaned to the side to avoid the stab, though the wire still broke the skin. Turning slightly, Balthier twisted the arm of the officer he was holding around to the point that any further movement would dislocate the shoulder. "You really shouldn't have done that..."

@Nailik. The castle's destruction. Is there anything in the castle that could prevent it? I'm almost on the verge of not caring anymore, but you're the only person I know of that has knowledge of the castle and possible improvements from 5 years after FF VI.
Blondie finds his mule is fine. He leads the animal outside so it might get a little exercise.

Royce cracked the officer over the head with his revolver. Not hard enough to kill him, but hopefully enough to stun him.

He drew his dagger and stabbed the officer in the hand, severing the tendons between the index finger and thumb.
