Balthier shook his head. "There is not."

You know, this would look a whole lot less suspicious if you would just accept the fact that I'm not some state of mind.

Ratsel shrugged and put her sunglasses back on. "I see. Hmmm... Perhaps once this man wakes up again. As much as I despite the idea of torture, I suggest that we might have to use... drastic measures." she said, alittle bit uneasy with her words.

"I could help with that." Blondie said.

 

[Chungus]

"Let's not get too far ahead of ourselves, shall we? This is about as low as I am willing to sink." Balthier replied, looking over to Blondie, it dawned on Balthier that he had never met the man before. "And who might you be?" he asked, turning to Blondie.

Ratsel sighed alittle relief. If I was to go to that level... I would be no better than her

"Oh hello there... Mister Blondie."

"A man who knows how to get people to cooperate." Blondie replied coolly as he flicked away the remainder of his cigarillo.

He gave a small nod to Rat.

 

[Chungus]

"That doesn't answer my question." Balthier remarked as he cocked aneyebrow.

 

[Furioso]

Valvatorez and Fenrich walked out onto the deck. Valvatorez was happily eating a sardine.

Spoiler: In other news... Dream sequence.

The boy somehow managed to see through the blood running down his face. Everything around him was collapsing, rocks falling and piling all around him and everything was in red. Oddly enough, the world seemed a bit beautiful through that bloody filter the rocks had given him. Suddenly, a voice rang out through the chaos.
[color=BB1100] "Don't you want to live, human!?!? Why are you just stumbling around!?! Use me!" [/color]
The boy says nothing.
The panic in the voice increases with every word it speaks.
[color=BB1100] "Are you really just going to let yourself die in a forsaken place such as this!? Don't you have people who need you alive!!?" [/color]
The boy says nothing.
A silence begins to ring out over the sounds of the rubble collapsing over the two entities.
The voice rings out again, this time hushed and sounding alone... longing for something...
[color=BB1100] "I... I don't want to die... like this.... If not to save yourself... at least... save me..." [/color]
The rocks still fall, but no longer make any noise. The red over the boy's eyes suddenly clears. He knows not why his body is moving, or why he's allowing to do so... but all he sees is his hand reaching out for that lonely chest in the room...

Rex lets out a loud yawn as he gets back up off his place on the deck. He looks down toward Erica. [color=008888] ...How long has it been since then...? [/color]
All he hears inside his head is silence. He frowns a bit as he gets up and looks around the deck.

Yukino rolls out of bed and slowly walks out onto the deck. Ignoring most of what was going on, she began practicing sword strikes.

"If that wasn't good enough for you, don't expect a better answer. I can help you and that's what's important." Blondie said to Bal.

 

[Chungus]

"Forgive me if I choice to place no trust in a stranger." Balthier said to Blondie with a deadpan voice. Seeing Valvatorez walk out onto the deck, Balthier walked over to him. "Ah. There is something I wish to talk about." he called out.

 

[Furioso]

Valvatorez looked up at Balthier "Oh? What about?"

Ratsel sat down with her feet hanging over the edge of the deck.

Bullet continued her practice, but eyed Yukino and her sword strikes.

"Suit yourselves. Makes no difference to me." Blondie replied, seeming to genuinely not care.

 

[Chungus]

"Why did you see fit to feed on one of the prisoners?" Balthier asked. "The entire point of taking prisoners if so that they can give out information. Sucking them dry does sort of hinder that.

 

[Furioso]

Valvatorez raised an eyebrow "What are you talking about? What prisoner?"

Fenrich looked over, now interested in the conversation

Rex sits up and listens in to Bal and Val's conversation as he crouches on the deck.

Yukino takes a pose and suddenly a clone of her appears. The two identical foxgirls begin to take swings at each other, causing sparks and soft clanging noises.

 

[Chungus]

"The newest adition to the pile." Balthier replied, pointing over his shoulder to the corpse pile behind him. "He had two puncture wounds on his neck. Like bite marks. Now while that is suspicious enough on its own, there was a smell in the air in his cell. Pardon the pun, a fishy smell. Those fish you're always eating smell the same way."

Bullet raises an eyebrow at Yukino before she sat down and sighed, wiping the sweat off herself.

Ratsel sighed and wandered back inside the ship.
