Valvatorez chuckled a little "Hm, yes, sardines do have a powerful scent... but I can assure you that wasn't me. I no longer drink human blood, willingly anyways." he said as he looked at Fenrich

Fenrich shrugged when Valvatorez looked at him "I had no hand in this either, my Lord. Shocking, I know."

I'm not convinced.
I'm sure they're telling the truth.

"So, are you suggesting some one is trying to frame you then? You're not native to this realm, so that raises the questions; who would have the knowledge to frame you like this, and why would they wish to do so?"

 

[Furioso]

"I have no idea, but it wasn't me. I would proudly confess any evil deeds I have done, but this was not one of them."

 

[Chungus]

Balthier rubbed his chin in thought. "Hmm... Perhaps it wasn't an outsider that did the deed, rather someone here. Any clue if anyone here holds a grudge against you?"

Holly woke up and strolled out of her bed, dragging her plunger behind she walked along to the deck.

"Absolutely not! None of my comrades would so such a thing!" said Valvatorez, oblivious to if anyone would actually have a grudge against him

Rex scratches his head a bit as he hears Val. [color=008888] Welp... we're all turning into vampires then... [/color] He spots Holly walking on the deck and waves at her.

Yukino dispels her clone and sheathes her sword. She leans up against a wall and listens in to Val's conversation as well.

Balthier shrugged. "Then I'm afraid I am at my wit's end. Ah well."

Holly waved back to Rex and wondered over to him. "Hey Explosionsss Buddy!" She said smiling.

Black slowly woke up, she gave a bit of a 'ugh' sound and got up, then stretched a bit.

Bryce awoke, and quickly looked over to Eve. Seeing her still asleep, he slumped and went back to watching.

Zach hopped out of the warhammer, and looked over the edge to see the man. "What, hitting the tough point already? I could take care of him, as could Bryce. Hell, Bryce fought a guy who could mind control, he might even be able to copy that ability."

Yukino walks toward Fenrich, hands behind her head. [color=BB66BB] "Excuse me, gray-haired sir. Your name is... Fido, correct?" [/color]

"Already said I would do it." Blondie said to Zach.

"Mind control, you say?" Balthier asked Zachariah as he turned and walked over to him. "If Bryce can pull such off, then good. It most certainly beats the alternative."

"I'm ok....I wanna blow something soon Tho!....howsss you Rex?" Holly asked Rex, seeing Valvatorez holly turned back to Rex. "[sub]Is that guy Black's Emo Boyfriend?[/sub]" She asked in a quiet tone.

Black just started some sword practice.

"Well, its mostly just giving him some spit in an orifice, and it makes him very much a hard to resist man. Everything he says, just super charismatic. Never seen him use it myself, but the guy who was using it was running a slave fighting ring in China. Tricky bastard." Zach rubs his jaw. "But you shouldn't be squeamish about beating the guy. Hell, if you have a problem with giving him a good smack or two, just think of all the people he may have gotten killed. Lord knows that's all I need to wring his skinny little neck."

"Let me know if you find out anything." said Valvatorez to Balthier

Fenrich slowly turned to face Yukino "...No, it's not. It's Fenrich... let me guess, that red haired child told you it was right? He has some sort of prejudice against demons, so he's trying to insult me. I would advise you to stay away from him." he said, barely containing his rage

Better than the alternative? ...Maybe. Blondie thought to himself.

"Oh, I am not wholy against giving him a beating. As you can see, how is hardly in the best of shape." Balthier said to Zachariah, pointing to the severed tendons on the officer's right hand and dislocated left shoulder. "But there is a diference between rough interogation and full-on torture. The latter I refuse to do or ascociate myself with."
Looking over his shoulder to Valvatorez, Balthier nodded before looking back to Zachariah.

"Well, I can't fault you for the moral high ground. I mean, I've had to do some torturing myself, so I look on it a little bit less... unfavorably. I usually don't have to lop off anything vital, or do stuff that'll permanently disfigure, so I accept it as part of what I've got to do."

Blondie decided to not say anymore. If the others weren't going to listen to him, he wasn't going to waste his breath.
