Rozalin moved back to the couch she was sitting on before and took her seat again. She resumed reading, occasionally looking up at those who were practicing. She raised an eyebrow at Zach's arrows returning to him, then made a note to ask him about that later out of curiosity.

Majeh crossed his arms and replied with a confident smile. "Even if it wasn't, that weapon wouldn't be effective against me. You shouldn't rely so much on weapons. Your own skills are what is most important. As I said, a steel sword is more than enough for me, but I am not above using me own two fists to fight."

He then watched as Zach recalled his arrows. Interesting...
"What technique did you use to do that?"

"I...assumed those were just her arms and legs..." Royce said.

Blondie leaned against a wall in the wreck room, getting rid of his spent cigarillo.

"Yeah, well you'll understand if I don't take that as a challenge to try it out on you." Jensen said, and holstered his pistol. "As for skill, I have more than enough, both in marksmanship and CQC. Oh, and since you asked, my name's Jensen. Adam Jensen."

Zach chuckled and held up his hand. In his palm was a small device. "Gravitic manipulation, courtesy of David Malcolm. Doesn't work with bullets, but arrows and throwing knives can come flying back with the raising of your palm."

Bryce swings back over, and calls out "Yo Rats! You can fly right?"

"Reminds me of a time, I challenged an escaped... criminal to fight me without using weapons or special techniques. Just with our own speed and strength. Good times. But you shouldn't worry, I'm not so fragile as that." Majeh says scratching his nose.
"Well met, Jensen. Something tells me you and I have a lot in common."

He looks to Zach. "Interesting. Even I have never seen such a technique. Seems useful, but I think there could be other applications for it as well."

Then she entered the cell and closed the door behind her, carefully approached the sleeping girl, and then removed her boots and gauntlets. [color=01B7FF]"If she proves to not want us all dead, then we can give these back, zam."[/color]

So that's how he does it. Interesting enough. Rozalin thought to herself as she heard Zach's explanation.

Rex lets out a loud yawn as he rises up off the deck. He cracks his neck a bit before beginning to practice his strikes again.

Yukino got out of bed and walked toward the noise she heard coming from the rec room. As she enters the rec room, she gives a little wave toward Blondie. [color=BB66BB] "What's going on in here?" [/color]

"Oh there are. We've slapped them in weapons to accelerate the bullets, our aircraft have dampeners that keep passengers from being flung out of the craft, and we've started work on dampeners you can wear to stop bullets or swords from doing any damage when they hit. Add that with nanos, as well as the space program, and we've managed to advanced since the plague. Truly, David's a miracle worker." he then loads all 8 arrows and fires them at once, ripping into all 8 dummies.

Bryce shrugs at the new pink dudes comment. "Too bad." He then circles over Rex. "Yo DJ, what happened last night? I needed you as my good cop."

"I'd have my doubts about that, kid." Jensen said bluntly. And it was true. Even without superficial differences such as Majeh's appearance and Jensen's augs, the young man was clearly too cocky for his own good. He would have to be, to challenge a known dangerous fugitive to a fistfight when the man was no doubt armed. He didn't know what to make of his claims that Jensen's gun would have no effect on him, but if it was simply that he was used to obsolete antique guns or thought it was a smaller caliber weapon than it was, it was foolish of him to simply dismiss it as being dangerous. He adjusted his coat so that it covered his boady armour and guns.
"If you want to prove yourself, I'll probably set this thing up for a more realistic experience tomorrow." Jensen said as he began to head to the exit. "We'll see then how your sword measures up in a firefight."

 

[Furioso]

Valvatorez and Fenrich made their way to the deck, where they stared out into the vast sea of sand dunes. After a few seconds Fenrich slammed his fist down on one of the railings, breaking it.
"This ship moves far too slow to be of any use..."

"I agree, whoever designed this thing needs to be punished most severely!" said Valvatorez as he began to eat a sardine.

"I see. You're relying on a tool. Tools have their uses, but they are not a replacement for actual skill and ability." Majeh says to Zach, shaking his head.
"I've been waiting for something to actually test my abilities... Hopefully this lives up to the hype. I've been disappointing by tests in the past." he replies to Jensen.

@Outis: Well she removed one of the gauntlets earlier, so I'm assuming they aren't prosthetics. If they are, then whatever, we can just ret-con it.

Maybe it will, maybe it won't. I haven't put this machine through its paces yet." Jensen said as he left. "I'll be setting it up for modern, high pressure combat though, so there'll be no concessions for anyone who doesn't believe in using up to date weapons."

Rex keeps at his practice as he answers Bryce. [color=008888] "Not really -tch- a fan of -tch- beating on little girls, cowboy... Even I've got a point -tchtch- where I won't start swinging at someone." [/color]

Yukino nods toward Blondie and walks into the VR room, starry-eyed. Noting everyone shooting at the targets, she pauses for a moment before slashing out toward the dummies with her sword. 8 small dart like fireballs spread out and hit each dummy in the head. She sheathes her sword again waiting for a respawn.
