OoC: @Salt: He should notice the glowing red edge of the blade and a faint humming immediately. If he happens to rub the black part of the blade, he should notice that it smells like blood. If he has good hearing, he'll hear that the humming is actually a collection of ghostly moans.

However, she used way too much and humans gained the power to use magic along with science, magical beings and half-breeds came to be, and the entire balance of the world was shifted." After some time had past, I seize looking down at the forest below. A full day had past, and I hadn't seen hide or hair from Kain. As amazing a feat of engineering this flloating construct was, it moved agonisingly slow. It would almost certainly take several more days before it would reach its destination. For this reason, I found myself wondering if I had not best start looking for Kain on my own once more. Turning around, I gaze at the induviduals that had assembled in the open space and watched them go about their business with mild interest. It was curious, as this marked the first time I had been close enough to humans to observe their behaviour, or even wished to do so. To think I would have thought of them as little more then sustenance at one point.
Majeh takes the blade and examines it. He looks over the red glow of the edge. He steps back and proceeds to take a quick series of simple slashes to hear it cut through the air.

Majeh closes his eyes as he holds the blade out in front of him horizontally, holding the hilt in his right hand and he places his left hand on the flat surface, and a moment passes. He looks to his right. "Do I sense what I think I do..?"
After a moment, he looks a bit stern and takes the blade of the sword in his hand handing the hilt back to Yukino.
"Just what IS this sword?"

Rozalin's mood noticeably depressed when Valvatorez brought up the subject of Balthier. "I believe it is still sitting in the infirmary. What interest do you have in the Sky Pirate's body?" She answered Val, without looking directly at him. When she glanced at him, she noticed he looked quite different from how she had last seen him, but simply chalked it up to that occurrence when he turned into a giant bat monster.

It slowly got shipped around the world, and it was modified so that it could be airborne and help anybody who went near a person that had been dosed. It mutated and killed 90 percent or so of the world. I had to trek across hslf the US to get home, with bandit clans forming. About half the survivors mutated, and got a bad case of the munchies, which is what happened to my parents. Had to put rounds in their heads. Me, Arianna, Alex, and David, who had all been treking across home to get there, all found our families dead, one way or another. I decided to form a merc outfit, run humanitarian missions and take down the baddies. We built about a ten man squad, but they all got dropped by the time I was 22. Zachariah was the only survivor, came from a comache reserve where his dad was the local chieftan. I then decided that we were too small to handle the big game, so I grew us up to about 5 regiments, breakers, mancers, masons, heartbreakers and waterbreakers. At 24, the NOR, which was the western US civilization, declared itself a monarchy, and we had to take them down. People liked us so much they elected me as their military chief of staff, and incorporated the Breakers in as their specialised armed forces. At 25, Caesar started appearing in me, just as the Beareau, the western civilization based in DC, captured me and shoved me in a prison camp. I got busted out, got the armcomp, and spent 15 years kicking it around Asia, getting my sanity back. Got back, opened up a bar in New mexico, and tried to sit out of fighting. Of couse, there are warlords in areas, but we've removed them from most of the US. Oh, and Zach was elected president while I was in Asia.
Aggie mumbles in her sleep before visibly shivering from the loss of her gauntlets and clawed boots. She turns over and faces the wall of her cell.

"There's nothing fun about this place." Rozalin said to Toad, nearly snapping at him. Holding a handkerchief over her nose so she wouldn't have to smell Toad, she replied to Valvatorez, her voice now sounding quite nasally, "Aside from the fact that Blathier is dead because I wasn't competent enough to help him, nothing at all is wrong."
