"Demon. Tell your lord that the Envoy to the Next World will be coming for him. No one escapes death." Majeh says as he turns and begins to walk away from the Marionette.

Rex manages to sit up, thanks to Dazzle's chant. He turns toward Roz, his voice sounding a bit stronger now. Whew... much better... "Basically... Ness is someone on the forefront of advancing technologies. She's constantly uprooting the old way things were done. People who are used to and prosper in those ways obviously hate her. Some people, like me, support her. She always says she's doing what's needed to be done for our dimension, one step at a time..."

Yukino glares at the doll with a smirk. "Just tell your lord not to send such pathetic vassals." She turns back toward Raziel, her glare cold again. "Your weapon... how does it work?"

Bullet eventually falls asleep.

Ratsel sighs at the doll, wandering back inside the ship, unlocking the doll and fall asleep on her bed.

OoC: Night.

With the creature gone, I turn my attention back to the woman. Although I wondered why the imitation was alowed to entered the construct. Putting the thought aside, I raise the Soul Reaver for the woman to behold. It ever shifted, like flames dancing on the wind, all the while, it emitted a feint, low humming noise.
"The Soul Reaver, an acient blade. Older then even then I. As the name would imply, it has a verocious appitite, hungering for souls. As it strikes down foes, it can suck the soul out of their still-living bodies and devour it, increasing its effectiveness.
Similarry, I to am a devourer of souls. Where once I needed to consume blood to sustain myself, I now must consume souls."

"Y...You serious? D'okay then. I can't promise you'll live very long, but if you really want to make it on the Overlord's 'sh*t list' then I suppose it can't really hurt. Me, that is. It's gonna hurt you quite a lot though." The Marionette said to Majeh as he walked off. The doll turned back to the rest of the group and said, "Whelp, looks like I got things to do now. Lemme give you guys my card, you know, just in case you really need a pick-me-up in the power department." The doll reached into its pocket and tossed a handful of black cards into the air, all of them miraculously landing at everyone's feet. Were anyone to look at the card, it would simply have the name 'Hell's Crown' emblazoned on it in gold-leaf. Anyone who wasn't even there would also find a card in their pockets or among their possessions somehow...
The doll, now identifiable as being named Hell's Crown, hopped over the edge of the Carrier and disappeared from sight.

The second doll chuckled at Bryce. "Yeah, I am pretty smart. See ya later!" It said, then walked out of his peripheral vision. If Bryce were to turn and try to see it again, he'd find it to have disappeared completely.

Rozalin nodded at Rex. Before answering, she sighed in relief at Dazzle finishing his work. "The pursuit of progress, certainly an admirable goal." She commented to Rex. Idly tugging at her bandages, she pulled one off and noticed that her wound there was completely gone. Assuming that Dazzle might have been responsible, she gave him a thankful wave goodbye as he left.

"Okay. Today was a good day. No one died, and I got to use a Jurassic park line in its appropriate useage. you don't get that easily. Good job team." Bryce then walks back in to check on the infirmed, reloading his revolver as he goes.

"Death doesn't concern me..." Majeh says going into the Carrier so that he could eventually go to sleep.

OoC: Yeah, this seems like a good place to stop.

Rex shrugs. "Yeah, so what's..." Rex suddenly falls asleep on the bed.

Yukino stares at the blade for a moment then unsheathes her own. "Interesting... that vampiric curse of yours..." Yukino suddenly falls fast asleep on the deck.

OoC: Night.

Rozalin sighed and shook her head as Rex fell asleep right in the middle of saying something. She nodded to Bryce as she saw him walk in, then worked on removing the rest of her bandages.

I stare at the woman, perplexed at the fact that one moment she showed no sign of being tired, while moments after, without warning, seemed to colaps from exhaustion. I briefly wondered if she perhaps was suffering from some manner of illness, but eventualy thought such irragular sleeping patterns were likely natural for her. Dismissing the thought, I found a quiet place to sit down. Although I still found myself to be restless, irritated that several days had past, and yet I hadn't come one bit closer to accomplishing my goal. The thought of leaving and seeking out Kain on my own became ever more appealing.

OoC: Guess I'll be off too.

"I'm perfectly fine now, thanks to some odd pink creature who wandered in here earlier." Rozalin replied to Bryce as she removed the last of her bandages that she could without taking off her clothing. "What even happened? I was busy making sure that Rex was not harmed while he was incapacitated. I assume there was more than one of these creatures from my world?" She asked, pointing over at the dead Marionette she had riddled with bullets.

"Honestly, you'd have more luck asking our more spiritual comrades. All I saw were creepy dolls that needed smashing." Bryce roots around his pockets. "Hey, you want some food or something? You look like shit."

A lone man followed in the wake of the airship, keeping in stride with it. He knew not if it was where the coward hid, but it was as good a guess as any other. Solemnly, he continued his march, the forest burning in his wake.

OoC just setting up some pre-plot plot. Don't mind that bit. He's far enough behind that unless you actively looked, you wouldn't see the smoke.

Rozalin glared at Bryce for about a solid minute after his 'you look like shit' comment. She looked away from him and said, with no small amount of venom in her tone, "No. I'm not feeling very hungry right now." She made a mental note to ask someone else about the attack, having not gotten a satisfactory answer.

"Oh. Okay then." Bryce proceeds to nibble on a chocolate bar. He looks over and sees bullet in one of the beds. "You know, we should really just reserve a spot for her if we haven't already. Seems like she's in here whenever she isn't fighting."

"What we should do is lock her up in a cell. That way she won't have an opportunity to prey on the injured after she gets herself hurt." Rozalin replied to Bryce as she shifted uncomfortably in her chair.

"Wait, what?" He asked. "What does she do, bite people? Because I'd actually be impressed if we've managed to wrangle multipe vampires."

Rozalin shook her head at Bryce. "She steals people's body heat to power her weapons. She doesn't even need to be awake to do it. It just...floats right out of you and into her hands."

Rozalin recalled the explanation she had heard from Bullet earlier that same day. "Apologize? No. Explain herself? She said she'd much rather risk killing those of us who happen to be near her than what else could possibly happen from using her weapon, all others of which would involve risking her own well-being. I believe she described risking her own life as opposed to ours as 'worse'."
