The soldier leaning against the wall yawned at Valvatorez's statement before muttering "Why is it we always gets the ones who think they suddenly mean something cause they were able to make it into nobility?" The other Infantry Man just looked at Valvatorez and Fenrich before saying "Look buddy, we know you think you're some sorta big shot now that you've made it up here after somehow keeping bales of cash, I know this because we all do at first, but you aren't really anything important yet. It'll be a couple of years before you achieve anything significant and even then you have to survive those years so making people angry generally isn't a good idea. And don't give me any crap about wanting to join the armed forces, it's a real ***** and should be your only last resort." He laughs. "Though I guess you could say we get the easier job of just guiding the shafts as nothing ever really happens around here. Now if you continue down that way and take a couple of rights and lefts and a flight of stairs, you'll be up on the surface." the man says as he points down the corridor. "However don't expect anyone to help ya, you're still on your own up here and if you can't make it up here then it would be better for you to turn right around and jump through the hole where your lift just was. I think we've had someone do that once. Oh before I let you continue I have to see your pass to access here." he stated as he stood up and held out his hand. "Oh by the way I respect both of ya for not wearing a mask on the way up but it's likely your lungs are going to crumble into ash before the next five years are up."

As the lift began its maddened drop to join the city below, Alex poked his head out again, and teleported up, one hand grabbing Bryce's neck. "That HURT Bryce! No need to be mean.".
Fenrich growled and stepped forward, grabbing each soldier by the neck and hoisting them into the air "You're lucky I don't kill you now for your insolence. Tell us what we want to know or I'll snap your necks like twigs. Quickly now, where can we find whoever runs this shit hole of a planet?"

Arakel looks at the soldiers, then taps Valvatorez on the shoulder.

"Shit! We got a crazy here!" yells one of the Infantry Men as the other grabs his radio and quickly describes the situation and Fenrich's appearance. Both men raise their rifles and place their muzzles against his forehead. "If you'd only been able to keep sane a little longer this sorta attitude may have got you somewhere but now we're going to have to put you down like a dog." They both begin firing.
The golem looks up at the sound of gunshots, then sees Arakel next to the soldiers. He cracks his knuckles, and sharp pieces of bone protrude out. He advances on the soldiers menacingly and punches one of them in the gut.

Bryce pulls his blade and shoves it deep into Alex's elbow, but it was the lasers and katana that pushed him off. "Oh dammit, let me settle my grievances! Oh, look, fox girl! I kill you next!" he pulls his arm back and reaches forward, Bryce forgotten.
Blondie and Royce both take cover once the shooting starts.

Rex sighs seeing that trying to be stealthy is kind of useless now. He walks out into the open, with his pistol back in his hoodie. He walks up toward the soldiers and waits for the reinforcements.

Yukino smiles as she falls backward and creates a clone that Alex grabs onto. The clone allows itself to fall forward toward Alex and the collapsing lift, leaving him with less options. [color=BB66BB] "Go right ahead and kill it if you want. I'll stay up here for now." [/color]
