Fenrich succeeded in successfully crushing both of the soldiers' necks and unfortunately Arakel's golem impaling one in the stomach was not enough to evoke a response from the already limp corpses. However whilst they had been focused on killing the soldiers, the sound of humming had started from either side of the corridor.

Archimedes took all this fighting as a chance to try and go inside the city. He whistled a little tune to himself while walking extremely causally

Blondie was very tempted to facepalm at the moment, but he was still holding Holly. He settled for silently lamenting the need to be with this group of strange people.

Royce and Blondie simply try to stay hidden for the time being, keeping an eye out for trouble of any kind.

As Fenrich wiped the blood off his hands he suggested to everyone "They called for backup, I assume that's what the noise is. We should head back to the docking bay, more room to maneuver."

"Ah! Excellent idea Fenrich." said Valvatorez as the two headed into the docking bay

Bryce growls deep in his throat and aims the rifle, only to find Yuniko's clone entangled.

Alex laughed, picked up the clone, and tossed it down the whole, turning back to the original. "Time to- he managed to cry, before Bryce's shot popped off his jaw. He stumbled farther back from Maris's shots, close to the hole.

Rozalin sighed at the chance for a non-violent resolution completely went up in smoke.
"Do you think if we pretend to not be associated with these people we can avoid having to kill anyone?" She asked Yukimaru.

Rozalin simply sighed once again as the pair readied their weapons and themselves for what might happen.

Archimedes causally walked straight into an electrified barrier formed at one end of the corridor as part of security containment and was immediately shocked.

An alarm suddenly sounded and a red light began flashing on the wall as the Blast doors to the Docking Station slowly began to start closing.

Eve was trying to keep away from the fighting as much as possible as she checked that everyone who had been asleep and pulled from the lift were okay where they had been placed.

Yukimaru noticed a loose panel on the wall that everyone else seemed to have overlooked. She walked over to it and pried the panel off the wall using one of her knives, then examined whatever the panel was now failing to hide.

Valvatorez and Fenrich waited inside the docking bay.

Fenrich rubbed his head, all of the simultaneous bullets bouncing off of his head had given him a headache.

Alex took another step back from the lasers, only to be knocked flying into the hole by the fireball. He was sent pinwherling to the city below, only to grow his wings and fly beneath it.
Bryce sighed and collapsed, a crunching noise could be heard as he massaged his throat.

Archimedes wouldn't find any control panels for the barrier as the Overlords had installed all security controls in a central hub far away from the group's current position. Though he can see that the barrier is being emitted from the corridor's walls though the emitters themselves are hidden.

Yukimaru would find that the panel came off relatively easy and behind it is a small passageway that turns right some way down.
