The man said nothing as he gave everyone gathered around himself and Yeul a piercing stare, as if he were judging them, all the while keeping a firm grip on his sword.
Seeing her guardian remain silent as he was addressed, Yeul turned to him, hands behind her back.
"No need to be like this. Introduce yourself."
Once more, the man gave Yeul a disaproving look, but eventually shook his head and stepped forward. "Very well then... I am Caius Ballad, Yeul's guardian."

All the bodies that were laying on the street had completely disappeared as the fox's glow stopped as it made another yip! sound before following after Riven again.

I stop to notice the fox following me again. I sigh and turn to it, as the fox happily waved its tails at me.

He gives a sideways glance toward the nine-tail. [color=008888] Well.... that makes clean-up less of a pain... Still need to run through the sewers around here... [/color]

Bryce absentmindedly nodded to the duo, before walking over and looking at the fox, going on a knee to get closer to it. "My god, you are just the cutest thing in the world." he murmured, slowly extending a hand as if to pet it.

Rozalin and Yukimaru were sitting down on a park bench somewhere on the other side of town from where most everyone else was congregated. Rozalin looked rather tired, as the two had been out scrounging for information the entire day. Yukimaru didn't look even the slightest bit winded however, and was sitting next to Rozalin primarily to just be polite.

"It's not so bad. One simply learns to adapt." Yeul said to Archemedis, then turned to Rex giving him a loose handshake. "I am Yeul." she said with a small smile, then stepped back.
Caius jabbed his sword into the ground and shook Rex's hand with the one he was holding his sword in. Naturally, unlike Yeul, his handshake was firm. Looking to Archimedes, he frowned. "Ballad was the name of a fallen comrade. I took it out of respect." as he spoke those words, he cast a glance at the fox, vaguely interested. A curious beast.

Bryce smiles and gently rubs his hand against the fox's head, applying pressure bit by bit, checking to see if it enjoyed it each time. "This your fox? Magnificent creature. You must be very proud of it." Bryce said to the broken sword wielding girl.
A young girl landed rather roughly in the park where Roz and Yuki were. Oddly enough, even though she landed rather hard, there was absolutely no sound. The girl silently cursed and muttered to herself as she got to her feet.
"It's not mine. It just started following me for some reason." I reply to the man (Bryce)

"Well then little fox, do you have a name?" Bryce muttered. "I'm sorry, I haven't introduced myself. Name's Bryce Logan. I suppose you aren't from around here either?"
