The Disciple crossed the gap between the Carrier and airship again and she suddenly appeared sat in the middle of the airship as if she had never moved however her eyes were still open. The claws of the beast looming over Jensen came into contact with his armour and slowly began putting more pressure on the claws as they started to pierce it. The shadow beast attacking Hellen siphoned some of the shadows off the other beast, so that it was only forcing one claw down, and reformed it's arms into long spiked tendrils that it began whipping at Hellen.

The man stopped drinking as the other sat down in a chair facing him. "I've sent them off to perform an errant for me. To check up on a 'friend' I've made since arriving here if you will. Just a trivial matter is all. Now what can I do for you?" he asks in a defined and gentle tone. "You take a look at these readings for me." says the man as he seems to grab one of the screens floating in front of him and chucks it to the other. The man hmms as he reads it and occasionally sips his drink.

Rex leans against a wall, seeing Raziel get up. [color=008888] So I wasn't making shit up... Good to see I'm not going insane yet. [/color] He simply nods toward Bryce as he closes his eyes to relax for a bit.

"I think Yukimaru will insist on coming along. Besides, I think she will remember where our objective is more precisely than I will." Rozalin said to Bryce. Hearing Rex, she turned to him and said, "As far as I know this is the closest thing we have to a 'lead' on the man we're looking for." Addressing both of them, she then said, "I shall go and inform Yukimaru of our plan. Perhaps you two should ask around as to whom else might wish to come along and help?" After passing along her suggestion, she looked around for Yukmaru, and was pleased to find her not far away.

Rozalin raised an eyebrow at the talking, flying, lightbulb. Then she shrugged and shook it's hand. I've seen far more bizarre things since arriving here. "I am Princess Rozalin." Hearing Yeul address her, she turned to face her. "Yes? Is there something you need stranger?"

Yuniko might be useful, but I'd rather not force you guys into something you'd be uncomfortable with." Bryce thought to himself about Eve, and wondered where she had wandered off to.

Jensen tried to struggle as the creature put pressure on his chest. It became harder and harder to breathe as it bore down on him.
"Get off me you bastard!" He snarled,though in his mind he was just about resigned to it. He had no control over his limbs, or any of his lesser augs. There was nothing he could do. He was going to die here on this alien world, half blind and unable to move. At least he was beneath a clear sky. He began to close his eyes, but then as the pressure on his chest increased, there was a click inside, and an audible whine. He opened his eyes, breathed a sigh of relief and sneered at his would-be killer.
"I said get the hell off me, you smoky motherf-" In mid sentence his Typhoon system activated. The barrels in his chest sprayed the shadow beast down with a shower of small shaped charges, which then exploded outwards, straight into the creature.

Mercer/Raziel turned and glanced over his shoulder as he heard a sudden increase in activity. He noticed a number of the group getting up and gathering their equipment.
"What's this?" He said to himself, and paused to see what they were up to.

As Jensen's Typhoon charges exploded it tore apart the shadowy form of the beast bearing down on him as well the claw it had been forcing down on him. The scraps of it's being floated in mid-air before they slowly began converging and rejoining together. Hellen's slash removed the tendrils of the shadow beast causing them to thrash on the deck momentarily before losing their shape and pooling together in a black puddle that began steadily crawling back to it's host body that had reformed stunted arms.

Black stood up and looked over. A few unfamiliar faces.....how long have I been out for? She thought to herself, keeping her hands in her pockets and her hood up, Black lent against a wall and kept quiet.

Jensen tried his arms again, but they didn't work, nor had his retinal implants restarted. The typhoon mechanism must have actiivated under the pressure of the creature's claw, by pure luck. He let his head drop against the deck and growled in frustration.
Mercer/Raziel heard the mention of the military vbase and grinned, before falling back in with the group. He could have a bit of fun with this, and if they found their target, all the better. He would give them a surprise they wouldn't soon forget.
