Bryce walked into the inn and slipped the girl into one of the chairs. He sat down opposite to her. "Okay, we have to find a name for you. I can't keep calling you soldier, unless you want me to."

OoC: @Demon Arguably, Hydra was destroyed at the end of captain america. Plus, the iron man movies came out first.

"Have a name." the girl said to Bryce as she rubbed her eyes. She placed a hand on her chin like she was thinking, then seemed to have an idea. She made a scribbling motion on her hand, hoping Bryce would get the message.

"Ah, paper. Hang on a second." Bryce dug into one of his pockets, before pulling out crumpled paper. On one side, there are words. "could you ignore that please? Let me just find a pencil." He continued to dig into his pockets, looking for a pen or pencil.

Rozalin and Yukimaru managed to find Bryce and New Girl. [color=01B7FF]"There you two are, zam. Have you seen any of the others return yet, zam?"[/color] Yukimaru asked.

Rozalin regarded New Girl with curiosity. "Is she perhaps asking for something to write with?" She mused aloud. Looking to sate her curiosity, and also not noticing Bryce, she rooted around in her bag until she found the notebook that Rex had given her and a pen, then she offered them to New Girl.

OOC: My characters are there, although they are going asleep. In the morning they'll check up on things in Gensokyo. G'night!

My girl smiled at Bryce as she took his paper and Roz as she took the pen. After a few moments of scribbling, she showed those around her what she had written. On the paper there was a single word, "ECHO." The handwriting was rather rough, but it could still be made out.

Bryce chuckled. "Echo, eh? It fits. Fits, like a glove. Nice to meet ya."

[color=01B7FF]"Echo, zam? Do you think it has something to do with the way she talks, zam?" And here I thought 'zam' was just contagious...[/color] Yukimaru mused aloud.

"While the name certainly fits, I can't help but wonder who would name their daughter something like Echo." Rozalin said, also musing aloud.

"It fits...The way she talks...Certainly fits..." Echo said rather dejectedly as she crumpled up the paper and tossed it away.

OOC: @FPS Hydra was made in the Ironman comics though. It would make sense for them to be in one of the movies but Nope they saved for the Captain America movie. It's really freaking confusing to me also the fact that the Mandarin shows up in Ironman 3 even though he's his main villain

Archimedes looked at this new girl "We can't have this person in our group. She's like 15 or something. I bet she hasn't even shot a gun before. She would just be a deadweight"

Rozalin turned to Archie, looking particularly annoyed. "What kind of nonsense are you spouting now? She is not much younger than I am, and before I came here I had never fired a gun before either. Are you calling me dead weight?"

Yukimaru noticed Echo's reaction and seemed apologetic. [color=01B7FF]"I'm sorry, zam. I meant no offense, zam."[/color] She said to Echo with a bow.

"I might be. And I wasn't even here when you first came here" He started to scribble on a piece of cardboard

"Hey, don't worry. Your name won't define ya with us. You won't be Echo, the repeater. You'll be Echo the soldier. I promise ya that." Bryce leaned forward in his chair, got real emotion in his voice.

"Fired a...gun?" Echo asked, not knowing what this was. "Deadweight!" she added more angrily. In retaliation, she sent a small cluster of colored lights into Arch's eyes.

"I'm sorry. No offense." she said to Yuki with a smile.

"[sub]Echo the...soldier...[/sub]" she repeated, looking down at the ground, clearly not liking the sound of that.

 

[Demonjazz]

"Aw yes very pretty. We will call you if we ever need more Christmas lights or a fireworks show" He said not very much affected by the lights because he had tinted goggles on

Echo seemed to growl noiselessly at Arch, folding her arms over her chest and looking away from him. "Very pretty." she muttered.

 

[Drakmorg]

"And just who are you to judge me?! I've yet to see you do anything besides blather like a madman." Rozalin retorted to Archie. Looking back, she noticed Echo's response to being called a soldier. "Not all of us have the desire to become a killing machine, you know." She chimed in to Bryce.

Yukimaru nodded and smiled at Echo. [color=01B7FF]"I don't know what you are apologizing for, zam. But know that I hold no ill will towards you, zam."[/color]

"No ill will towards you." Echo repeated to Yuki as she stood and walked a bit away from where she had been. She found a nice couch and sat there.

Bryce glared at Arch. "Tell you what scarface, when you do more then make lightbulbs talk, I'll be impressed. Echo's ten times the person you are, because at least she keeps any prejudices she has to herself." Bryce then bows his head to Echo. "Fair enough, maybe soldiering ain't your choice of job. Doesn't mean you ain't helpful."

"Doesn't mean...ain't helpful." Echo seemed to agree with Bryce, even if she seemed unfamiliar with the vocabulary. She took off the small pack she had and emptied it out on the couch, sifting through the contents.
