Majeh stood on an antenna-like structure below the Upper City, looking to the ground below.
"What's with the souls of these people? I've been looking all over, but they seem to be disappearing. And no one is escorting them to the next world... What do you make of it, Samhuk?"

"Yes, something is taking the souls in... But what? I've never heard of such a thing..." He looks over to his side. "What? Scared?" He raises his arms to his sides and wiggles his fingers. "It's gonna get you, Samhuk!"

Majeh laughs. "Relax. If it could get you, it would have done so, already. Quit being a baby."
Majeh disappears from the structure as mysteriously as he arrived there.

Making his way make to the city proper Maje took to the rooftops, and began making his way back to where he last saw the group. "Hopefully those idiots didn't get into too much trouble while I was looking over the situation with the souls..."
Black fell asleep in the chair she was sat in.

"Good night." Echo said, smiling down at Holly. She simply sat there for a bit, but then carrier Holly over to the couch she had slept on last night.

Eventually, coming to the inn he had seen the group stop at, Majeh jumped off the rooftops, and landed in the street, delicately, as though he was but a feather.

Having said her silent prayer, Yeul walked over and sat down on a bench near the inn. Caius remained standing.
"Caius. I would like to travel with these people for a while." she said, staring straight ahead.
"What makes you think they would alow that?"
"You know."
For a moment, Caius remained silent, then sighed. "If that is what you wish... When will you ask?"
"Soon." Yeul asnwered, then looked up to Caius. "You don't approve. Do you?"
"No."
Yeul only nodded and went back to looking ahead, watching the leaves of the trees move. As Majeh leapt off a rooftop, Caius looked at him for a brief moment, but said nothing.

A hulking, blue creature stomped its way towards the inn where everyone was gathered. It stopped right outside, then started to look around for something. It noticed Majeh, causing what might be seen as its perpetual grin to widen slightly. "Oi! You there! With the stupidly long red hair! You wouldn't happen to go by 'Envoy to the Next World', wouldja?!" The creature shouted at Majeh.
Rex nods a bit, then walks over toward Echo. [color=008888] "So... you like copying what other people say? 'Cause you're pretty good at it." [/color]

Majeh stopped and looked at the creature. "And who's asking, Demon? What business do you have with a God of Death? Do you seek to impede my work?"
He looks over the creature. "And what's with the three eyes? You look stupid. And someone needs to pull those teeth out. And what is with the blue color? What? Are you a demon of perpetual sorrow? Or one who always loses fights?" He says with a grin.

The massive demon let out a deep chuckle that nearly shook the ground it stood on. "Well lookit that! You ain't running in fear! Now I know for sure you're the dumb bastard that put himself on the boss's shit-list!" It pointed one of its three fingers at Majeh and declared, "The name's Baciel! Now, you gonna keep talking like yer hot shit?! Or are we gonna get to the part where I kill ya?!"

Bryce came out of the room, the paper carrying eulogies for Zach, Alex, and his mother in his pocket. He started walking downstairs, stopping to observe the conversation between Echo and Rex.
