"What planets have been colonised? I thought most of those in our solar system were useless." Jensen said. "Oh, and is there some particular reason we've come down to the basement?"

Mercer/Ellis flexed his fingers as the haze formed, and shifted the katana from his shoulder to a ready position.

 

[Saltyk]

"Hmmm..." This smacks of a trap... I think I'll spring it, in a second.
Majeh smiles. He holds up his hand, as two fingers ignite in flame. "Let's test this barrier." He makes a quick motion throwing the fireball at the 'wall'.

Bryce sighed at his being ignored. "This must be what Royce feels like." He took a seat at the piano, and played the siege of madrigal, an old favorite of Alex's. If anyone watched him as he played, they would see a tear roll down his face.

"Wait, don't..." Yeul called out to Black, but stopped when Black was already out of earshot.
"Yeul. Did it happen again?" Caius asked Yeul as he approached. Yeul nodded as she stood up. "Damn..."
"It is nothing to worry about, Caius." Yeul stated, then looked towards the area of the city where most of the group had gathered. "Something seems to be happening there. Shall we check?"
"If you so desire..."

The duo walked over towards the rest of the group.

Feeling the effects of Aisha's magic, Rex bows slightly toward Aisha. [color=008888] "Thanks. I owe you one." [/color] Hearing the suggestion to work in pairs, Yukino walks over toward Rex. They both nod to each other in unison.

[color=008888] "Alright. Try not to go nuts this time, fox." [/color]

The duo heads over toward Majeh.

 

[Drakmorg]

Majeh's fireball went completely unopposed, eventually simply striking the side of a building and blowing a hole into it. From within the building, a few shadowy figures could be seen shuffling back out of sight for a moment.
The haze simply hung in the air in front of Mercer, since he made no moves towards or away from it.

Echo went to sleep, snuggling up with Holly.

"Lots of planets. Some more successfully than others. And I came down here to talk, away from anyone else." Blondie said coolly.

Seeing the fireball pass through, I sighed. Damned powerful magic. I unbuckle my sword just in case though.

"No problem!" Aisha said to Rex as she turned to me with a :3 face. "Sooo... How are you?"

"Been better I guess."

 

[Saltyk]

Majeh shrugs. "It's almost like I'm being invited in... Gee, I hope nothing happens." He says with a grin as he starts to walk forward.

 

[Random berk]

Mercer/Ellis watched the haze for a few moments more, then backed away from it. It didn't seem to do much, but he wasn't taking any chances after seeing what happened to the infected.

"You got something that needs to be said?" Jensen asked. That's unusual. "Lets hear it then."

 

[Slenn]

Reimu prepped her spell cards. She and Marisa followed close behind Majeh.

Yukino, tilting her head a bit, sends out a clone to run through the wall before she attempts to.

Rex keeps his chain in gauntlet form, he hops in place a bit as its glow dissipates for now. He follows after Majeh, a bit cautious.

I follow after Majeh, keeping my sword at the ready, as Aisha has her Dual Tear Drops out (They reverted back to normal after the fight)

"You're not a psycho, or at least you're damn good at hiding it, so why are you still with this group?" Blondie asked Jensen, looking intently at him now.

 

[Random berk]

"Good question. I need to find a way home, and that seems to be the goal. Also, I signed on right from the begining. I made a commitment. And some of the people that I made that commitment to are still here. The others... I don't know. But I'm going to try and help finish whatever it was we came here to do, assuming it is on the level." Jensen replied, meeting Blondie's stare. "This is looking an awful lot like an interrogation. Have I done something to make you suspicious?"

 

[Drakmorg]

For those that walk into past where the barrier was, a large black building, modeled to look like a temple of sorts, seemed to ripple into existence as they pass through the barrier. The architecture and color scheme of the new building clashed entirely with the native buildings of the upper city.
Those who entered would also begin to hear whispers, urging them to enter the black building, sounding gentle and benevolent.

As Mercer moved away, the haze dissipated.

 

[Chungus]

"We should turn back. There is no reason to put you in harm's way like this." Caius said to Yeul, turning to her as he saw Majeh draw his sword.
"But I wish to see what is afoot."
Hearing Yeul's answer, Caius frowned. "That is reckless... Compromising your safety for the sake of curiousity."
"But I wish to see."
Although he grunted in annoyance, Caius relented. "This is most unwise... But very well then..." drawing his sword, he turned around and followed Majeh.
Yeul smiled slightly and did the same. Seeing the black temple and looked at it, slightly awestruck.

 

[Outisakanobody]

"No. The opposite. You seem like one of the only people here I'd trust, even a little. Seeing what this group is like, I'd hate to see you get killed for some stupid reason." Blondie said casually as he moved away from the wall he was leaning against and walked away from Jensen so that his back was now to him.

Rex takes a look at the building and sighs. [color=008888] "This is obviously a trap. Can I just blow the building up and get on with it?" [/color] He remarks to no one in particular as he follows the group.

Yukino rushes in as the clone walks through unharmed, humming a bit. She skips merrily toward the building. [color=bb66bb] "Yay~ Traps! More stuff to slash!" [/color]

 

[Saltyk]

"Oh, no. What ever could be in that building? Oh, I'm sure it's nothing. Probably a picnic. Or gold. We should totally drop our guards and walk inside." Majeh says loudly as he makes his way to the building.
