Echo grabbed Holly and started leading/dragging her away from where the fighting was likely to happen.

Blondie wandered off in a seemingly random direction.

OOC: If you want Holly in the fight, you can take control of Echo. Not sure what you'd use her for, but there you go, @Hatchy.

Majeh tapped his foot. "Hello? Shouldn't you idiots be telling me what you're here for? And why you'll kill me if I refuse to submit or something along those lines. You really don't do this very well..." He said impatiently.

OoC: Remember he's outside, so he can't hear the knight.

 

[Random berk]

OOC: Hmm... maybe its the sheer lack of anything going on, but I think I'm starting to develop Trilby and Demon's mentality. As well as my primary for the next thread, if we ever actually get there, I'm tempted to just scrap Mercer, or Jensen, or both, and bring in another blank slate character. And yet, I'm also having difficulty mustering the desire to keep taking part in this thread. Its kind of hard when 90% of the time nothing is happening, and nearly all the real action occurs at a time where I'd have to stay up obscenely late to stay involved.

one of the grunts looks over at Majeh, and grunts out "We serve the lord Ferrok, who is recruiting in the inn. Go, and listen to his speech on ruling!" these seem to be memorized words, with him not understanding their real meaning.

"my name is Saber, John Saber and i think we can help each other" he said

"No... I serve no man. Nor will I listen to his peons order me around. I can be a friend to anyone, and I can be an enemy to anyone. What about you?" Majeh replied to the soldiers with a smirk.

Ooc: @Random: I believe that should be in Chat group...

"I'm afraid I'll have to turn down that offer, as I have no intention of supporting a dictator regime. Now please leave." Yeul stated.

As a precaution, Caius stepped infront of Yeul and assumed a combat-ready stance, ready to draw his sword at a moment's notice should things turn violent. "You had best listen."

Echo dragged Holly to safe spot, but still within viewing distance. "Who are those people?"- Holly asked Echo, Echo shrugged in response but pointed at there weapons. Holly nodded and the two kept there heads low down as they watched.

Saber? Small world. Blondie thought to himself as he walked away, somewhat amused by the coincidence.

The armored man sighed, and tapped his sword against his thigh. "Well, we need this inn moved. So either move or become paste under our tank treads." he gestures, and the two tanks, that the others wouldn't have seen, come smashing through the front of the inn, cannons jutting out and almost smashing through the wall at the other end of the inn.

The grunt glares at Majeh for a bit, before screeching in a foreign tongue. The 5 men wielding flamers jump forward and begins spraying acid at Majeh, spraying in all directions around him with one focusing on him.

OoC So, groups? Who's joining in. Also, we may need to find a new inn once this is over. Or just steal a building.

Majeh appears behind the five men. "Were you looking for someone?" He says with a smirk, as he reaches for his sword, slowly to savor the moment before he strikes.

OoC: @FPS: I'll be joining in.

Holly gave a girlish scream as the Tank come through the Inn, Ecko gave a silent scream. The two ran to another room of the Inn, looking for somewhere to hid.

As the two tanks busted through the front of the inn, Yeul shrieked and shielded her face with her hands. Caius, however, was almost entirely unfazed.
"Very well. We shall take our leave. Come, Yeul."
Yeul nodded and left the inn, Caius following close behind. "You understand I cannot let this threat stand." Caius said to Yeul as he stopped walking.
Yeul nodded, knowing what she needed to do. Running away, she took cover in a abandoned house opposite the inn. When Yeul was out of sight, Caius turned around and leapt ontop one of the tanks, drawing his sword as he went.

The two tanks had a mounted machine gun position, and the one Caius jumped on had a very surprised gunner manning it. Shrieking, he reaches for a combat knife to jab at Caius.

The other tank gunner sighs at his friend's stupidity, and begins hosing down the inn, spraying wood shrapnel everywhere, including near where Holly hid.

The 15 grunts had varying reactions to Majeh. 6 jumped in surprise and began firing at him, their heavy caliber rifles making a kchunk noise with every shot. 4 charged him, only to be hosed down by their allies fire. the other 5 took a step or two back, to prepare a flanking maneuver. the 5 acid sprayers quickly moved backwards, but their spray had weakened the ground around them and had left them stumbling.

The swordsman who was in command slapped his helmet in frustration, before leaping up to stand next to Caius. "You know, I take great offense to you stopping this demolition. It is hardly like we assaulted you. Oh well, time to die." he raises his sword to swing at Caius's neck.

OoC: nailik and Hatchy in group 1,
Salty and Bryce will be in group 2, I suppose. If anyone else joins in, Bryce'll run for help and they'll take his place.

 

[Chungus]

When the gunner of the machine gun made a jab at Caius with his knife, Caius blocked the attack by slamming his lower arm against that of the soldier. Having done this, he pushed the arm of the soldier up and grabbed it. Twisting around, he used the soldier as a human shield when the commander made a slash for him. "I take offence to you threatening my charge. Time to die, indeed."
Pushing the soldier he had used as a shield away, Caius made a diagonal slash, from the upper right to the lower left.

Holly and Echo jumped to the floor when the wood shattered everywhere. they both started running away. "What Ssshould we do!" Holly asked Echo as they ran away. "What we should do?" Echo repeated, unsure what to do against a tank. Echo used her 'magic lights' and directed them in the face of the soldiers, hoping it would distract them.
