Yukino was about to shoot back at Nemesis as she found herself suddenly lacking air. She begins to sputter and gasp as the lack of oxygen starts to affect her. She clutches at her neck as she slowly starts to drop to her knees. Her face begins to lose a bit of color as her black mist begins to envelop her again. [color=bb66bb] Damn it... Just who the hell is this!? [/color]

 

[Chungus]

Caius looked at Yukino as she dropped to her knees, gasping for air. Is this woman like a Guardian to that girl? Or is she perhaps her mother? Either way, she is a fool for sending her daughter to a place such as this on her own to begin with. Regardless of what he thought of Nemesis, he quite enjoyed watching Yukino squirm, although, even now, his face remained stoic.

"Introductions will come in a moment." Nem said to Bryce as she walked over to Yukino.

She looked down at her with narrow, venomous eyes. "You. Will not. Harm or threaten. My niece. You. Will. Not." she said slowly and clearly to her.

The smoke left Echo and revealed she had been healed and even had her hair and clothing restored, though she was still shivering.

Blondie decided this woman was probably in control of the situation, and he wasn't in a hurry to save Yukino, so he walked away. He saw Holly on the ground and brought her back to the inn.

"Oh no, I really do not want to test and see if my CPR training is up to snuff." Bryce said.

@Dirty: EDIT: Never mind. I don't know what I'm talking about.

Even in her sputtering, Yukino stares Nem straight in the eyes, just as venomous. The mist around her materializes into a scythe once again and the foxgirl manages to channel enough energy into it to slash the air around her. This dispels the oxygen-free bubble around her and she dispels the scythe, gasping in the normal air and coughing. [color=bb66bb] "Alright, you've got my attention... I'll keep my hands off your niece.... as long as she doesn't try to taunt me again." [/color]

Rex slowly waits for Radec's next move.

"Hmph. Magic weapons." Nem said in a haughty manner as she saw Yukino use her scythe. "Consider yourself lucky I'll allow that. Also, my niece has to repeat things that people say to her. It is her curse, and her punishment. I suggest you respect that." she continued.

"I am Nemesis. Echo is the daughter of my half sister. A pleasure to meet all of you, I'm sure." she announced in a more cordial voice. She then carried her into the inn and laid her down with Holly.

Echo was asleep now, so Blondie decided to leave, once more treasuring his ability to leave these people behind.

OOC: Have to go to bed. Goodnight.

So she is your niece? You are still foolish to alow her to be here, where peril lurks at every corner. Caius thought upon hearing Nemesis, then looked back at Yukino, a small, satisfied smile on his face. Let that be a lesson to you.

oh dear monkey-cthulu, Yukino heard Everycomment I made. And she's been proven to have really poor decision making skills. Hopefully she doesn't try to murder me. bryce stepped forward and offered a hand to help yukino up.

Yukino passes out right there on the floor with her breathing being a bit labored. Needless to say, she was unable to take Bryce's hand.

Rex lays himself down in the lobby and goes to sleep.

"Well, probably for the best." Bryce picks up Yukinoand carries her inside, putting her in a ground floor hotel room. He then sat down, leaned against the counter, and sighed.

 

[Chungus]

"I am feeling rather tired also." Yeul said to Caius as she stood up and entered the appartment complex. Caius worlessly followed.
The duo entered their room and fell asleep.

Bryce lookedover the new guy, sighed, and went up to his room to bed.

@trty00 i'm coming with you i haven't had any action since i got here plus Sader's a captain and Radec's a colonel i think they'll get along just fine

Radec is also an attack dog for a fascist dictatorship. He's a brutal man who will kill at the drop of a hat. Don't think that, because the characters both come from military backgrounds, they'll get along.

Sader is a ruthless, cruel and feared man, he will kill anyone who disobeys him and anyone who disagrees with him and anyone who trys to fight him.

Bryce pulled himself out of bed, and looked around, before hearing a knocking noise from downstairs on the door. "Coming, coming!" He yelled, pulling on his duster and heading downstairs to answer the door.

OOC: Might as well jump in.

Rozalin and Yukimaru made there way back to the Apartment Complex/Group's new HQ, both looking more than a little disheveled.
"I wonder what everyone else was up to while we were gone?" Rozalin asked aloud.
Yukimaru simply shrugged to her as the pair approached the building.

Bryce pulled open the door, darkly muttering "Okay, this better not be a damn Jehovah's witness..." to find a man with green skin and the uniform of the iron legion standing outside with pamphlets. "Hello sir, would you be interested in joining the nation of Xylvania?" Bryce glared darkly, before snarling and opening the door for the recruiter. "Well, you aren't Jehovah's witness, come on inside."

Rozalin and Yukimaru both followed the recruiter into the building as Bryce held the door open.
"Thank you Bryce." Rozalin said pleasantly as she strolled into the room.
[color=01B7FF]"Yes, thank you, zam."[/color] Yukimaru said, giving Bryce a quick bow. She paused, noticing the recruiter and Radec that Rozalin didn't seem to pay much mind. [color=01B7FF]"Who are these two, zam?"[/color] She asked.

The recruiter looked up. "And you may call me Fredric. I am currently polling the local populace about their state of affairs, to see how we should best modify our current approach." he held up a pamphlet. "Would you like to fill out a survey for the betterment of both yourself and Xylvania?"
Bryce nodded to Roz. "How've you been holding up roz'ika?"

[color=01B7FF]"Well, it's nice to meet you both, zam. My name is Yukimaru, zam."[/color] Yukimaru replied to Radec and Fred the recruiter, giving her usual introductory bow. Addressing the recruiter specifically, she said, [color=01B7FF]"No thank you, zam. We don't intend to stay here for very long, zam."[/color]

Rozalin nodded back to Bryce, then found a chair in the lobby and sat down. "Oh I've been quite well. Yukimaru and I were spending the last few days keeping an eye on that military compound. It's...given me some time to think about things." She replied.
