"A de-facto government? I am afraid I have never heard of such a thing. From what I have read, nearly all governments from where I am from are autocratic." Rozalin replied to Yeul. "And I am indeed of royal blood. The One and Only Daughter of Overlord Zenon, as a matter of fact." Not that that would mean anything to you, it never seems to... She added, displaying her mark to the pair of newly met folks for a moment. She turned slightly to Caius and remarked, "Such is the food of luxury, in some cases. I have personally yet to find any place in this world to provide anything truly satisfying to eat. At this point, I might consider myself capable of killing to get a nice, bloody steak."

Yukimaru took great advantage of the lightning-bolty-shouty-man and leaped over the rooftops onto the ones that made up the outpost. From there, she began looking around, trying to get a feel for just what was happening before she involved herself further.

As Rozalin displayed her mark, both Yeul and Caius looked it over, although Yeul did so with more visible curiousity, her eyes tracing back and forth, following the lines of the mark. Although it held no meaning for her, she still found it interesting. After being done examining the mark, Yeul stepped back. "The de-facto government came into power after a catastrophic event three years ago, wich left the world with a power void. The Fal'Cie--wich are demi-god-like beings that guided the people for as long as anyone can remember betrayed them. Sometime after this, Cocoon--a miniature floating world holding several cities fell out of the sky, forcing Cocoon's inhabitants to evacuate to Gran Pulse, the world itself. A year later, the Academy formed, and although primarily consisting of scientist, they began working on improving the people's quality of life in their new, inhospitable home. In time, they were more or less accepted as rulers, and still are."

"I have always hunted for food. And would still do so. But there are no Behemoths to be found here, so no steak." Caius idly remarked.

Yukino casually weaved through the shots with ease as she unsheathes her katana, slashing at two guards' necks.

Rex get grazed by a few of the shots. Making his way to cover again, he fires a few rounds of his charged pistol toward a few guards. Even if they miss, the shock should damage them somewhat.

OOC: I gotta get to bed soon, so...

Rozalin listened to Yeul, nodding her head with interest as she spoke. As Yeul finished speaking, she couldn't help but feel tired, and was unable to prevent herself from yawning. "That was all quite interesting, but do you mind if we spoke more about it some other time? I believe I need to rest now." She said to Yeul. She waved goodnight to both Caius and Yeul as she headed back to her room and fell asleep, pondering what a Behemoth was, and how its meat tasted.

Yukimaru, not really being able to tell just what was even going on and whether or not this was a battle really worth fighting, left the scene, not likely to be noticed thanks once again to the attention-grabbing efforts of Cole.

OoC: I'm not gonna be able to stay up to finish this... Got like 2 more posts in me.

Rex gets blown back by the blast of the rocket. Grunting, he gets up and shoots a few more rounds toward the direction of the rocket with his pistol.

Yukino starts to giggle to herself as she starts dancing around the remaining guards, slashing them while getting in close with a cluster. Her slashing is causing blood to fly everywhere, and yet, she smiles through it all.

 

[Chungus]

"Of course. Good night, princess Rozalin." Yeul replied before Rozalin walked off, giving her another bow. When Rozalin left, she turned to Caius. "I am rather tired also. Shall we rest for the night."
"Yes. It is rather late, judging by where the moon stands."
The duo entered the complex, walked to their shared room and fell asleep.

OoC: I'm pretty much falling asleep on my desk. So I'm off. x.x

With the guards knocked out, Rex and Yukino switch their attention to the snipers and take them all out via pistol shots and slash fireballs. They both look a bit tired after the endeavor, then head off toward the complex after waiting for Cole and Radec to follow them.

Saber suddenly appears next to Radec with his gun to the back of the commanding officer "i found the commander of the outpost trying to get away, i thought you would like to interrogate the coward" he says as he pushes the man to move "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU!?!?!?" the commander screams while crying a little

Holly was still asleep on the sofa where Rozalin had placed, snoring slightly. "Sss...Sss...Sss..."

Black was around the city, continuing her searching.

Majeh had stayed up all night. Watching for more Infected and fighting them when they showed up. Despite this, he had handled himself well, and seemed no worse for the wear. Standing atop the barrier of the Iron Legion Base he tapped his foot. "Just when things had gotten interesting..."

the commander looked up at Majeh, tensed his feet, and leaped up to join him. "You fight quite well, Voidwalker! We would be honored to give you legionnaire status for helping us. You did a great service protecting those that can not protect themselves."

 

[Saltyk]

Majeh waves his hand, dismissing the concept. "Keep your legionnaire status. I want nothing of it. As I said last night, I can be friends with anyone and an enemy to anyone. I helped you last night, but tomorrow I may fight you if our interests clash."

 

[FPSfanatic]

"Still, there must be some compensation we can offer you for helping us. What can this old Xylvanian offer you, as leader of a military force or an old man?" The commander sat on the edge of the barrier, observing his engineers building a new multilayered defense. "Mind you, we need supplies of our own to keep the people and ourselves fed, but I'm sure we can spare something."

 

[Chungus]

Yeul and Caius returned to the appartment complex after a evening walk, Yeul being pleased to see that slowly but surely, the pressnce of the infected on the streets was decreasing, having only encountered a handful this day. Upon reaching the appartments, Caius placed the sword on his back and assumed a less alert stance.

OOC: I see things are still slow. That's...good...I'll be on shortly.

"Keep your supplies and your compensation. I desire none of it." Majeh replies. He continued to look to the horizon. "Dead men have no need for worldly treasures."

Black continued to roam the streets, sticking to the rooftops to avoid the infected.

Holly slowly woke up, she sat up on the sofa and yawned a little.
