This time Mercer already had his shield ready and took Rex'es punch on its face. With so much of his biomass gone however, Rex'es punch was powerful enough to send him stumbling back several paces before he regained his balance.
That's not good. I'll have to try and take him quickly. Without enough mass for the spike nest that he had used on Raziel, Jensen lashed out with a wide, broad whiplash at waist level, aiming to cut Rex in two from a good distance back.

OOC: @Berk Sorry kinda distracted by some stuff
Taric noticed that a portion of the ground around him happened to be missing. He willed gems to come out of the earth to make a walk way for him and than charged towards Rozalin

Archimedes flailed around hitting Jensen with weak punches

Blondie calmly looks around and reloads, trying to find any more threats.

With Yukimaru's kunai having taken out a substantial amount of the Noxian minions, the Demacian minions in the top lane were able to mop up the remainders and move onto attacking the Noxian turret. Yukimaru stood back and took a breather for a moment, starting to feel her wounds from when Yukino's fireball hit her.

Rozalin regained her senses just in time to see the large pink man running straight for her. Not currently thinking as a team player would, she made a break for the Noxian tower as another Noxian minion wave arrived, pretty much leaving Archie on his own.

OOC: @Demon Right. Hmm... sorry, but the posts I made before that were to warn you that Jensen was coming and give you the chance to react and make a fight of it. With Jensen on top like this, that's pretty much it.

Archimedes's feeble blows met nothing but unyielding metals and carbon fibre as he lashed out, striking Jensen's armoured torso and the closest parts of his prosthetic arms. A moment later, Jensen's blades thrust straight down.

Rex pulls up his gauntlet and ducks to block Mercer's whip. The force of his attack manages to shove Rex back, causing him to roll toward his turret. The minions that Holly stunned have recovered and start to go to attack her. Rex starts running toward Mercer and from a bit away slams his gauntlet into the ground, creating a dome of red electricity that threatens to electrocute Mercer.

Yukino sees the grunts coming up to attack the turret as it starts to open fire on them. Yukino sighs as she starts slashing at a few of them as well, helping to thin them out.

Blondie sees Yukino and fires at her several times, taking careful aim so he would not miss.

Seeing Rex slam his gauntlet into the ground Mercer leapt high into the air to jump over the shockwave. He didn't expect it to pass through the air as well though, and screamed in pain as it passed over him. He slammed into the ground, tendrils spasmng from his body as he struggled to get up. He mutated his right arm into a blade, ready to cut through Rex if he got too close while Mercer was gathering himself.
"I have a wager to win." He snarled through gritted teeth. "And I'll be damned if I'm going to lose it to you."

Holly screamed in panic and threw fireworks blindly at the minions as they closed in on her.

OOC: Does Holly have any close combat attacks?

Taric saw that Rozalin was getting to close for the turret for his liking. He went about killing some of the enemy minions.

Archimedes felt a sharp pain and everything went black and than popped back up at the Noxian base "Hey you magical gypsies! Stop making me live right now! I didn't come here so all my science could be discredited! You can't just teleport and bring me back to life like that"

OOC: @Random: I don't think explosives and close quarters work together well...So I'd say no.

Yukimaru caught her breath and began to assess the situation. With the Demacian minions right underneath the Noxian turret, she couldn't afford to try and attack Yukino directly or else the turret would switch its aim to her. She approached the skirmish that was occurring and hurled another fan of knives into it at Yukino, then back off immediately to avoid drawing ire.

OOC: Just in case FPS isn't still here...

With Archimedes death, an announcement echoed throughout the field that everyone could hear, "First Blood!"

As Rozalin reached the tower, she frowned at the announcement, feeling an intrinsic negativity about it. She leaned against the tower and panted for a moment as she caught her breath, then set about taking more potshots at the Demacian minions while still staying close enough to the tower that she could duck back away and towards it if she noticed any aggressive moves from the other side.

OoC: @Random: I'd say no.

Yukino manages to slash most of the bullets Blondie shot at her, her adrenaline barely keeping her moving. Yukimaru's knives manages to hit her in the arm and midsection. She crumples to the ground aside the turret, looking extremely sorry for herself. [color=bb66bb] "Damn it all.... I...." [/color] She closes her eyes and waits for someone to finish her off.

Rex sees Mercer equip his blade and frowns. He takes his gauntlet and switches it into its gun form. He stares Mercer dead in the face as he squeezes the trigger in and a loud VEEEEEEEEEEE noise can be heard as lightning strikes all around the alchemist. [color=008888] "That sucks for you, buddy." [/color]

[color=bb1100] Charge at 65%... [/color]

OoC: @Drak sorry about that, I'll be keeping a more careful eye here. Think I'll let this run for a little longer, then introduce the end for it.

@Dot that comment better end in a pun of some sort. 'sucks for you buddy' *Shoots Mercer* 'because looks like that bet was just lost.'

Jensen go to his feet, blood running in rivulets off his nanocarbon blades. They were completely frictionless, and with a flick or two, they were soon clean enough to retract. H briefly looked down at his armour. It had a shallow, straight line melted into it where Archimedess shot had grazed him.
"That was a little closer than I'd like." He remarked to no one in particular. Glancing around, he saw that the Noxian minions were being pushed back, and so continued on towards the Noxian tower, shooting any minion that even looked in his direction.

"Shit!" Mercer gasped, staggering to his feet and seizing one of his own minions in his left whipfist, hefting it to throw at Rex.

 

[Demonjazz]

Taric carefully made his way to the turret.

Archimedes came back shooting at the minions still grumbling about how those summoners brought him back to life.

OOC: Last post. Do characters come back in after they're killed or do they have to wait til the round ends?

As Mercer and Rex faced each other down, Holly was dragged to the ground by minions, their clubs flailing wildly at her and throwing up strings of blood. She cried out desperately for help, but Mercer did not have time to react, nor would he have done so if he did.

Blondie didn't approach Yukino, as he was wary of the turret she was by. He started wondering how to deal with it.

@FPS: Just making sure the bases are covered. I won't steal your job anymore.
@Random: They just respawn after dying back at their base.

Seeing Yukino collapse, Yukimaru had no intention of letting her sit there and suffer. [color=01B7FF]Supposedly we come back when we die here...don't hold this against me Miss Yukino.[/color] She approached the edge of the turret range, then used her Shunsetsuza, dashing forward past Yukino and a number of incoming Noxian minions with her knife held out, delivering lightning quick slashes to those she passed. As she did, the turret started firing at her, hitting her in the back and knocking her to the ground as she just barely made it out of range to avoid a second hit.

Wishing to get some breathing room between the enemies and her sides turret, Rozalin summoned her mark, using a spell that had simply popped into her head a few moments ago. As she summoned her mark, Archie, herself, and the remaining minions were bathed in white sparkling lights. As they resumed attacking, Rozalin and her allies found they did more damage with their attacks, quickly tearing through the Demacian minions.

OOC: That was Rozalin's ability 'Kneel Before Me' (Not even making that name up). It increases allies ability to deal damage.

Rex lets loose the charge stored into his gun into the ground and a colossal beam of red energy erupts, engulfing Mercer, all the minions, Holly, and Rex within it. The explosion rings throughout the map and anyone active will be able to see the vertical streak of energy from wherever they are. As it dissipates, Rex sighs as he emerges from the crater he created, waiting for another team of minions to advance after. [color=008888] "Hope that bet was worth losing, Mercer." [/color]

Yukino smiles as Yukimaru slashes her cleanly in the chest. As she falls down, she weakly calls out to the little ninja before getting respawned. [color=bb66bb] "Not bad! I guess I'm not as good as I thought~!" [/color] She closes her eyes and then opens them, returned to the Noxian base, back to normal. [color=bb66bb] I owe her quite a bit now... Time to make them pay! [/color]

Blondie continued wondering about what to do about the turret. Seeing Yuki get hit by it reenforced his need for caution.
