Eve woke up in a cold sweat. The base raid had been fresh in her mind when she had fallen asleep and it had affected her dreams as she had slept. She shivered and looked around the now familiar dilapidated state of the room before hugging her pillows. She laid there for awhile before getting up to take a shower.

The Prisoner was giving Rex a piercing stare. It was like he hadn't made a single movement but his eyes were now open and staring intently where he had been sleeping soundlessly a moment before. He lay still watching what Rex might do.

Jack and Darwin strolled in the direction of the hotel. Jack was mulling over whether he had won the bet or not as there had been substantially less people who came out than went in the facility though as he was unsure what the seemingly clueless group was after then he wasn't sure whether they achieved what they had set out to do. Grumbling, he slammed the bottom of his cane into the ground with each step he took for a short while which created satisfying cracks in the ground.

The Disciple's hurricane suddenly liquified from wind into a bubbling black tar that fell to the planet's surface where it pooled before congregating and being absorbed at the base of the giant shadowy and fleshy column that had formed within the hurricane. The top of the column bent towards the floating the floating city like a head before splitting into four mandible-like sections and letting loose a deafening hellish roar as long thick appendages began oozing out of the sides of fleshy mass. Anyone who was sensitive to detecting souls would feel an intense pressure as the creature roared. The beast began approaching the city.

The man sat in the extravagant tower, alone, watching the beast approach whilst he sipped from his glass. He slowly spun the liquid in the glass as he stated "Now the real entertainment begins." He clicks his fingers and as he does so deep within the bowels of the machinations of the city, a certain generator appears to get slashed by two blades made from the shadows causing it explode. Outside the gentle humming that was barely noticeable during the time spent in Troika due to it's constant low volume cut out as the barrier surrounding the city rippled all over once before receding into it's emitters, leaving the city unprotected from outside forces.
