Yukimaru nodded to Rex and ran out of the room quickly. She ran about Apartments quickly, starting from the top floor and moving downwards. For every room she ran past, she stopped and popped her head inside to say, [color=01B7FF]"We have to move now, zam! Gather your things and get down to the bottom floor as quickly as you can, zam."[/color] This woke up the folks who were sleeping and caused them all to congregate in the lobby (OOC: Just saying this for the character's of people who aren't here so they don't get left behind). Once she had done this, she began to run a headcount.

Rozalin frowned as the streets suddenly became quite a bit more crowded and she was shoved about by rude, thoughtless people. Not wishing to try and make it on foot anymore, she spread her wings and took flight, flying several meters above the crowd as she followed them to wherever they seemed to be going. She did her best to ignore and block out all the screaming and other terrible noises she heard.

Rex signals for the Prisoner to follow him as he wakes up the people on the couch and shoves them in with Yuki's group. He takes a step back as the ninja counts everyone up. [color=008888] This is quite a pain... [/color]

Pausing for a moment, Rex takes a look at the shapes the Prisoner drew, trying to make something out of them.

Yukino continues her rushing toward the sounds of the beasts.

Bryce walks through the base, finding more and more gruesome signs of battle. It's at the point when he finds a man with his marrow broken open and a sign of a scythe that had embedded in his skull, what was left of it, that he stopped examining bodies. He eventually reached the holding zone in which the 4 battlestations sat, and there in its center lay its 6 commanders, killed with apparent ease. He stared down at the one Majeh had spoken to, who's sword was missing, as were all the others. There bodies surrounded a pile of ash, and from behind he heard a voice. "There were almost worth my time. The darkness will make great use of them, minus there souls."

Eve squeaked when Yukimaru had stuck her head round the door whilst she was rushing to put clothes on and concerned herself with the girl's warning rather than her modesty for the moment. She finished dressing and grabbing her stuff rushing downstairs to the lobby. Upon seeing Rex she ran up to him and asked breathlessly "What is going on?!"

The Prisoner continues to draw his complex shapes with his legs crossed to balance the pad on.

Jack and Darwin stood stock still as the crowds of panicking citizens rushed past them. Jack was itching to separate some voice boxes from their owners to deal with the insistent screeching slightly but kept his cool when he saw a small group of those he recognised had formed outside the inn before setting out through the crowds. Suddenly torn between chasing after this new target and waiting for the creature to appear, Jack felt indecisive before deciding to shadow the group and deal with the rival later. He motioned to Darwin and they began stealthily following after Blondie and Co. whilst using the rushing mobs as cover in case they looked behind themselves.

The Sand Wraiths were relishing in the fresh slaughter and bounty of the panicked crowds of Troika's citizens, separating their flesh and bone with claws of steel that emerged from the rags of sand that covered their arms and devouring their souls with great gusto. As one impaled a husband and his wife with one swipe, he noticed the crowd split slightly as something headed for them. Absorbing the souls and dumping the empty carcasses, the Sand Wraith turned towards the point of interest and charged forward, bringing it's claws in an upwards cleaving moment as they sliced through people's flesh and hopeful the strange thing coming at them.

The beast had pretty much oozed itself onto the city as it's head opened and roared again before it began oozing over buildings and through streets, destroying them, whilst tendrils shot forth from it's skin and spiked helpless citizens as they ran and dragged or snapped them within the black fleshy surface of the horrific Eldritch abomination.

 

[Saltyk]

Finding the abomination, Majeh created a small fireball which he threw at it to get's it's attention. "Hey. Who or what are you? You should know that Hell is not okay with such things as you absorbing souls."
He stands atop a building with his arms crossed, his usual confident grin plastered on his face.

OOC: Sheesh...kinds almost seems unrealistic to think anyone is getting out of this city at all...

Blondie led his small group forward, forcing himself to ignore any and all tragic scenes around him. After a bit, his resolve was worn down and, while still moving, he cast a quick, searching glance around the immediate crowd, specifically looking for any small children that may have been in danger. (Hoping you will facilitate this, @Nile. )

Royce, fearing something would happen to them, turned around and quickly picked both Echo and Holly up, carrying them along.

Rex shakes his head as he sees the prisoner is still sitting there drawing. [color=008888] Looks like there actually is a language barrier after all... [/color] Picking up the prisoner like a stack of boxes (to keep the prisoner's legs crossed and therefore, the pad balanced), he turns to Eve with a groan. [color=008888] "City's going to shit. We need to get out of here a.s.a.p. Bring anything you're gonna need. We're moving real soon." [/color]

Coming near the wraiths and ruthlessly slashing and consuming the souls of the citizens fleeing, Yukino slashes a fireball at the wraiths with her katana as her black mist begins to envelop her. [color=bb66bb] "Hi there! Shall we have some fun~?" [/color]

Yukimaru raised an eyebrow at Eve as she heard her. [color=01B7FF]"Short answer, I don't know, and I'd rather not stay around long enough to find out, zam."[/color]
Upon finishing her headcount, Yukimaru heard another roar, this one sounding substantially closer. [color=01B7FF]"I think that should be our cue to make an exit now, zam. Let's go everyone, zam!"[/color] She announced, then led the group out into the streets, whereupon she began to follow the fleeing the crowds of people, figuring they had a better idea of where to run to than she did.

Rozalin continued to follow the crowds of people from the air. She actively tried to keep herself from looking back as she heard the terrible, distant noises.

Black and D.Master were running the rooftops, following the crowds and seeing if they had an idea of where to go.

Following the ninja, Rex grunts as he struggles to hold the prisoner and follow Yukimaru at the same time.

Fiddlesticks slowly walked into Bryce's view, his mouth set in a grin. "If I had not already decided on a destroyer for this world, I would have chosen you, Bryce Logan. You have such darkness in you! What you did to that soldier who shot Arianna, how you made him scream. I love that about you. The others, they are happy and comfortable with what they've done, or refuse to examine what they have done. You though, you face it, and constantly ask if you did wrong. It is so delightfully dark and painful." he leans over the pile of ash, and readies his sickle. "Now, lets see what a schizophrenic version of you, with the power of a thousand souls, can do to this city." he stabs down, and the surrounding area would shake greatly. Growing from that ash pile was a vaguely human silhouette.

OOC: ...Now I just want all the monsters and baddies in the city to take notice and fight each other while our group quietly flies off.

OOC: @Drak: Whoops! That was a typo. I was just thinking of the natural phrase and ended writing it out. Didn't mean to put Earth.

Eve nodded at Rex when he answered her. "I've already got everything I need so I'm ready to go when you say so." When Yukimaru spoke up Eve's cheeks reddened a little as she nodded in response. She then followed after Yukimaru when she lead the group outside and into the crowd of people running.

The Prisoner grunted slightly as he was lifted but didn't break his concentration as he continued drawing.

As Blondie group makes their way further and further through the city, they would see various families keeping together as they tried to get away as well as those where the father and mother ran whilst leaving the eldest child with their youngest sibling as well as instances of where father or mother ran on ahead leaving the rest of the family behind. One particular sight that would stand out would be a brother and sister, younger than Holly and Echo, clinging to each other with tears streaming down their faces as they tried to not get caught in the throng of people running haphazardly by standing next to the corner of a building. They had obviously been abandoned.

As Yukino's fireballs collide with the Wraiths, it seems like the rags covering their bodies had set fire. The alight rags then broke apart into particles of sand killing the flames and spinning once around the creatures before reforming but not before revealing the depth-less shadows that restlessly coursed beneath their coverings. The Sand Wraiths working in unison both slashed at Yukino from the ground upwards in a diagonal curved slash.

Majeh's fireball didn't do much to draw the beast's attention as it made contact with it's flesh and simply turned into smoke. It continued dragging people within it's mass by traveling over and spiking them as it moved further into the city and continued to roar. Majeh would detect that although from the outside it appeared to be devoid of any souls, whenever the creature opened it's mouth most of the roars consisted of an intense spiritual pressure from within. A spiked tendril shot out of the body of the creature aiming to pierce Majeh as it continued on it's way.

"Strange... It's like looking upon a void, yet I can sense the souls of people when it roars. Perhaps..." When the tendril goes to attack him, Majeh sidesteps, and quickly draws his blade, cutting the tendril down.
"As I was saying before I was so rudely interrupted, perhaps I should try to use my power over souls upon this creature. I maybe able to pull them out, if I haven't lost all of those abilities in my physical form."

He jumps to another building, and makes his way to the front of the creature. "Now, if I can just get it's attention..."

Ooc: I half expected a villain to show up and address him.

Blondie stopped dead in his tracks, seeing what he wished he wouldn't. As the crowed surged past him he stood and stared at the children, silently arguing with himself. Trying to get himself to believe that they didn't need him. That there would be someone else to help the two. That they could make it on their own. Even that they weren't worth risking his own life for them. It was an argument he could never win. He rushed over to the two children and scooped them up, then rejoined to crowd, heading just as fast as ever.

Royce managed to keep pace just behind Blondie, really hoping at this point that everything would work out somehow.

Holly just kept her eyes closed as she held onto Royce, whispering a little to herself.

Black stopped for a moment, she looked over at the chaos that was happening all around her. "This reason alone....this example right in front of our very eyes is why I which for a world of peace..." Black said to D.Master, her voice was bitter. "Black we cannot save them all....i know how you feel but we don't have time...." "I know....and it pains me that I can't..." Black said, then turned to D.Master. "Let's get out of here while we can..." "Right" D.master said in agreement, the two then jumped over a couple of more rooftops, trying to find the rest of the group.

@Nile: I figured that. That was just my tongue-in-cheek way of pointing that out to you.

Yukimaru did her best to make sure that everyone stayed together. She intentionally let herself fall behind to where she was at the back of the group, so she could ensure that no one else fell or slowed down and got separated from everyone else. She frowned as she noticed the sights of people abandoning each other in the crisis. She clenched her fists and simply continued on.

This is a definite contender for one of the most appalling sights I have seen since arriving on this horrendous planet. Rozalin thought to herself as she glanced around at all the horrid sights around her. She felt utterly disgusted with everything that was happening, but tried to just shove the feeling down as it did nothing for her at this moment in time.
