As Persephone watched, lyra quickly rattled off her reasons to be angry. "One, we just had a damn terrorist attack yesterday, two, they visited the same room you just entered, and three the person you listed as knowing here was kidnapped in said attack yesterday. So you'll explain, after a bit of interrogation, who you are."
Bryce backed up against the wall, stammering "I- I- I I" as Caesar, in his head, said don't worry, I have an idea. at that, Caesar took control of Bryce and leaned forward, kissing Lyra. Ness and Jess would exit at the instant this occured, followed an instant after that by Lyra flipping out a blade and jamming it into Bryces chest, knocking him to the ground and pulling a second knife to press against his neck.

Valentine eventually went back to sleep, having put ear buds in her ears due to the shouting.

Ness blinked a small bit before registering that Bryce was being a bit stupid... again. She walked over to Lyra and tried to push her off of Bryce. "Sorry... I know this man. Please excuse him, he tends to do idiotic and... immature things."

Persephone remained impassive as she watched what was happening.

Lyra glared up at Ness, and was about to say something, when Bryce started yelling from under her. "WHAT THE FUCK CAESAR?! I LET YOU TAKE OVER TO MAKE AN ARGUMENT, NOT TRY TO KISS HER YOU SHIT! I'm sorry, thats what people do in spy movies to shut up the interrogator-YEAH, IN A FUCKING PORNO, YOU IDIOT! Goddamn, I am never letting you take over again." He rubbed his badly bleeding side, and nodded to Ness. "Sorry about this Ness, thought I'd help out with the event now that I've got approval from my higher ups."

Hearing signs of a scuffle and more angry sounding shouting, Jessica contemplated simply leaving the space-craft for the moment, not at all wanting to be around something like that. "Uh, everything alright out there?" She called out through the doorway, as she still sat in the guest bunkroom.

Ness looked back toward Bryce and raised an eyebrow. "Huh...? Alright then. I'll tell you a little more about it later." Turning to Lyra, she gave her a small bow. "Once again, I'm really sorry about this." She looked over toward Jess and called. "No... thing's are fine now." I think...

Lyra glared at Bryce a moment longer, then stood, removing her blade from his chest. "Man, of all the people I wanted to be kissed by today..." she glanced at Ness, chuckled, and shook her head. "I was coming to tell you the fleets leaving tonight. May want to get off before then."

Jessica breathed a sigh of relief as what Ness had said to her seemed to be confirmed by her not hearing any more yelling or fighting going on. She stood up and approached the doorway to speak directly to Lyra. "So how long do we have to--oh my god that man is bleeding!" She exclaimed, seeing Bryce laying on the ground with a knife wound in his chest.

Ness registered what Jess had screamed as she pulled on her glove and began to heal Bryce. She looked back to Lyra and nodded smiling. "Oh.... Alright, we'll get situated before heading off then. Hope we might meet up again, Lyra. Good luck with whatever comes up next."

"Oh don't worry about that. Marcus and Xyleena volunteered to be your personal bodyguards, and I agreed with them. They'll be joining you on the planet, and where ever you go after that. If you'll allow them to, of course." bryce stood up, muttering "thanks Ness."

Ness looked over at Lyra and shook her head. "Thank you for the offer... but I can't accept their help. They would be better suited for fighting alongside you than me. ...I don't want to drag more people into my mess if I can help it." She offered Bryce a hand up as she stood up as well.

Jessica still felt somewhat uneasy about Bryce being stabbed in the hallway, doubly so by the fact that hardly anyone seemed concerned by the fact until she had pointed it out. "So, um...as I was saying, how long do we have before we need to get off of this thing?" She asked Lyra. "Oh, and, uh, thanks for helping Vanessa yesterday." She added, scratching the back of her head as she remembered what she had to say.

Persey smoked over to Ness and Jess, staying rather silent still.

Lyra grit her teeth. "fair enough, I can't force you to allow them to join you. And responsibilities require me to stay with my people. But they want to serve in the great hunt, and I'd be happy to keep in contact with you after this." her teeth loosened, and she smiled. "and besides, Xyleena loves you. Hasn't shut up about you, ever since you first met her. And, with her irregularities, I think she'd do better seeing more of the galaxy, away from military life. Doesn't do her well when most of her family flinches when they see her."

Ness nodded a small bit before looking down. "That's the thing... In my dimension, people wouldn't flinch at the sight of her... they'd immediately try to fill her with lead, assuming she's just another mutant in an army of abominations. I can't willingly put her through something like that, despite how much of a sweetheart she actually is.."

...Is she ignoring Jessica? She thought as she prodded Bryce. "You can get up now..."

OOC: It's odd to listen to awesome, invigorating music when you're tired...

"Fuck. Can she at least stick with you guys during the temple deal? They'll have a ship to load up on after you've gone." she finally shrugged to Jessica. "I'd be a bit of an ass not trying to help her. I mean, she was staying here, she saved my life a ton. It would just be payback. Not to say I don't care about Ness."
Bryce groaned, and pulled himself up.

"Still, thanks." Jessica replied to Lyra. She hummed to herself a little at her last comment, but shrugged it off as nothing major. Since Persephone wasn't making any noise, Jessica didn't notice her at all at the moment. "It'd still be nice to know how much time we've got left to leave."

Ness nodded. "That should work out alright." She looked around at everyone near her. "Well... once we grab Erica, Valentine and Xyleena, we should be set to go..."
