Death looked at the guards, walked up to them and waved idly, and said,

he said, pulling out a ton of ancient gold coins,

[B]I[SMALL] BELIEVE THERE IS A FEE INVOLVED, WHAT WOULD IT BE?[/SMALL][/B]

he asks.

"Tell what happened..." Echo said, starting to sound a bit worried about how she was going to explain things. She started looking for her writing stuff. She shied away from Death as he approached.

Holly went to Echo and hugged her. "What'sss happening Echo?" She asked, a little less worried now.

Blair put her arms down and gave a sigh of relief. "Well that's good then..." She said to the guard with a smile.

OOC: I guess I'll throw my characters into the fray. Where are everyone else's characters located? I think I'll be more proactive about getting into interaction. Learned my lesson about having them wait for other people from last weekend...

"What's happening..." Echo repeated as she got out her writing supplies. She turned Holly around and bent her over slightly so she could write on her back. Doing her best to write clearly and legibly, she wrote her side of what happened and then handed the paper to one of the soldiers.

 

[Chungus]

"The hell?!" one of the soldiers exclaimed as Death approached.

"Is... is that walking skeleton trying to bribe us?" the other mused aloud, disturbed by what he saw in several ways. Shaking his head, the soldier drew his sword again and pointed it at Death. "It seems like you did more then just 'scare her'. Whatever you are, you are hereby under arrest."

While his collegue confronted Death, the other turned back to Echo, although kept an eye on Death. He also wondered why Echo was writing something down, rather then simply speaking. "It's okay, you can tell us." he said to Echo, while at the same time finding it odd Echo's voice sounded nearly identical to first his own, then Holly's. What's going on here?

OoC @Berk: By the way, when're you planning on doing the Winterhold thing?

"Okay, tell." Echo said as she waved the paper in front of the soldier talking to her, frowning slightly.

OOC: @Nailik Well, I'm just discussing that with Silver in the chat. Whenever circumstances allow. Preferably tonight or tomorrow, because I'm going to spend Sunday with someone, and after that I'm going to be snowed under with work.

he says,

Ridicully was annoyed, his scrumble was gone, his hat's brim was bent, his head hurt, and he was stuck here. Nothing seemed to be going right for him...

Holly just held Echo hand and smiled a little.

Blair just facepalm at Death. "Excuse me...sir? this guy is umm...new around here and he didn't mean to upset anyone...could you maybe let him off with a warning? for me?" She asked the solider, trying to use her "cute act" on him.

Cynane strolled up to where Echo and Death were negotiating with the soldier, a long katana-like blade sheathed across her back. Jona walked with her. He shied away slightly as they drew close to the tall, cloaked figure that was Death, both sensing something dark and powerful beneath the cloak, and associating it with the black cloaked figure of Anakin Skywalker in the Council chambers.

@Gear The crab thing was a friend of mine. It was great. I showed her a study that shows crabs feel pain. Her reaction was entertaining to say the least. And the mapping is done, but I'm writing it up now. I have 12,500 words written, a few refs, and the map, X-section and Strat column are digitised and ready to display.

Brooke walked over to the group, and looked at Blair.
"He was skulking around in the shadows, obviously trying to hide and let you take the fall." she pointed out. "Do you really think you should defend him?"

he said to Brook,

he said.
Ridcully see's the Figure of Death, and hears what the officers and Brook said to him, "HOLD IT!" he shouts at them, staff in hand.

The soldier bended over slightly and read what Echo had written down, still wondering why she prefered writing over simply speaking, and being more wierded out by the fact that when she did speak, she coppied his voice once more.

"The fine for public indecency is 200 gold, but running away form a walking corpse, scared for your life doesn't fall in that catagory. I don't care what form of sick magic reanimated you, and how you're still sentient, but I'll be damned if I alow something like this to happen." the other soldier snarled at Death. "Now come this way." he added, leading Death towards the main building of the military outpost. "Absolutely not." the soldier said to Blair as he stopped and turned to her, then nodded upon hearing Brooke. "That too. This... thing has a lot to answer for." Hearing Ridicully, the solder briefly glanced over to him. What is it now?

Blair just shakes her head a little"Look that doesn't matter now does it?" She said to Brooke, wanting to explain further, but it would be a bit shady around the soldiers.

OOC: @Nailik He's bringing in a Skyrim character, a thief.

"What's going on here?" Cynane innquired as the soldier began to lead the tall cloaked figure away.

Echo wrote, "I was sleeping and the skeleton guy was in my hotel room. I don't know how he got in there. I ran from him, he knocked me out and took me somewhere. When I woke up, I ran away and he followed me again."

Echo squeezed Holly's hand and smiled down at her.

Death looked at the two guards,

[B]I[SMALL] DO NOT THINK YOU QUITE GET IT: I'M THE PERSONIFICATION OF DEATH, SO IT'S GOING TO BE HARD TO ACTUALLY TRAP ME.[/SMALL][/B]

he says. He turns to Cynane,

[B]I[SMALL] AM APPERANTLY UNDER ARREST FOR SCARING A GIRL.[/SMALL][/B]

he says.

Echo would notice a well crafted, mostly incomplete braid in her hair.

"LOOK, I DON'T KNOW HOW YOU CAN SEE DEATH, BUT I KNOW THAT YOU'RE ARRESTING HIM, AND I'M STUCK HERE TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET HIM BACK WHERE HE BELONGS, WHILE YOU ARE ARRESTING HIM! YOU SHALL YEILD, OR I'LL TURN YOU INTO A COD! AND I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT THE FISH!" The large wizard said.

Cynane gasped in shock at the sight of the grinning skull that turned to face her.
"Holy fucking Spirits! What the... what are you?" She cried out in horror.

Jona dropped into a low crouch and hissed sharply at Death, his hand going to his sword. Although his vocabulary had been improving, he was still as feral as ever.
