the black haired girl gave a small sigh as she heard the sounds of battle. No matter what worlds, what timelines, what dimensions....War never changes... She thought to herself, she walked closer to the battle and kept on scanning with her right eye piece.

Holly sat down next to Echo and just lightly hugged her. "Ssshall we go sssee misss Vanesssa?" She asked as she looked up at Echo.

With the wardens door safely locked behind him, Envy headed back to the South Wing, which currently only had 4 guards between the 2 floors. He walked into one of the stairwells, then came back out, calling out to the guards on the bottom floor. (I think the warden was colored grey?)"Oh, come on! Hey one of you guys get over here and help me with this!" said Envy before going back into the stairwell and shutting the door behind him. Making sure it was empty of course

"See miss Vanessa." Echo said with a nod as she stood and led Holly out of the hotel.

Marston looked at the battle, amazed and shocked by the display. He noticed several men being taken out from afar and idly looked to see if he could find the sniper.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Ashmedai, my eyes, my breath: come now to bind your heart in chains of gold!" Nybeth called out from his hiding spot among the Xiphatian soldiers. One of the Legaian soldiers accompanying Bellerophon would feel his vision get blurry until it completely blacked out for a moment. Once it was clear again, he would find himself surrounded by what appeared to be Xiphatian soldiers, with Athena standing in front of him with her back turned to him.
After casting his spell, Nybeth continued to move back, hoping to find a medic among the Xiphatian forces to deal with his still-bleeding side.

OOC: Nybeth cast Charm.
The soldier affected by Charm will think allies are foes and vice versa until the effect either wears off after a few turns (GM's call on how long that is), or until he gets hit by something.

Jessica continued wandering through Fourside, looking for any place named 'Heaven's Grace'.

The black haired girl would see little of the battle behind the wall.

Without support, the Xiphatian units took heavy casualties.

The Golems were pushed back towards the entrance.

Athena was forced to defend herself and several soldiers with her with her magic, instead of attack, by erecting a massive wall of ice.

The charmed soldier freaked out attacking dropping a grenade. "I won't let you win!" He screamed as it exploded at his feet.

Bellerophon jumped back from the explosion shielding himself. What sort of spell was that?

Yukino's scythe manages to damage the wall, but little else as the sniper's shot rings out, killing another soldier. The sound coming from the South.

As the mechs rounded the corner, Savranth and his company were out of sight.

Looking through her scope, Medea spots the black haired girl.

Marston would find no trace of the sniper.

Jessica would eventually find the Heaven's Grace hospital not too far from the government building.

The guards followed Envy. "What's the problem, sir?" One asked as they entered the empty stairwell.

Marston, in his search, finds a girl watching the battle like him. He decides to ride over to her at a easy pace.

Trilby led Ness through the town, up to the base, and approached the guard.
"Excuse me. My, uh, friend, here believes you may have an acquaintance of hers locked up in your jail. Would it be possible for her to check? I promise, this one won't kill anyone." he said the last part with a nervous chuckle.

Shutting the door behind the guards, Envy directed them underneath the stairs. "Looks like someone's been stashing some stuff, go gather it up and we'll handle the rest in a bit." Assuming the guards started to head that way, once they were in front of Envy and not looking at him he would extend is arms as tentacles to wrap around their necks and snap them in a quick, clean way, in an attempt to not give them any time to react.

Yukino sighed slightly as she hopped off the wall and rushed at a mech, kicking her foot up and creating a massive pillar of black energy in front of her.

Ness gave a curious look toward Trilby. ...Well, it may have been a bad idea to have him introduce me...

the girl continues to scan the battle. the scanner brought up several numbers and digits, coming up mostly negative. Machines...and magic? She sighed as she stepped out to get a clearer reading. the weapons never matter....it's all so pointless... She thought to herself, as she put a hand in her pocket to rest.

Holly followed Echo to look for Ness.

Echo continued to look for Ness with Holly.

Marston rode closer to the girl, going slow and steady.

Since the Xiphatians neglected to bring along any medics in their assualt, Nybeth grimaced and pointed his walking stick at a Legaian soldier that was attacking Athena. "Heartbeat of life, gossamer wings, return to roost, to me!" He chanted. The soldier he pointed at would feel himself grow weak as a stream of blue light flowed out of his chest, forming a blue ball of light in the air in front of him. The ball of light quickly flew over to Nybeth and engulfed his wound, sealing it and preventing him from losing any more blood. He thanked the now weakened soldier for his assistance by calling down a Meteor Strike on him and his unit.

Jessica walked into the hospital, happy to have found it so quickly. She strolled up to the front desk and asked, "Excuse me, but you could you tell me if there's a patient I'm looking for here? He'd have come in about two weeks ago from Granite Pass."

 

[Saltyk]

The sniper shots once more killing a soldier. The sound comes from the East.

Yukino's attack does massive damage to the mech allowing a Golem to finish it off. Thanks to her aide, the Golems are able to start pushing back on the force.

Nybeth's attack sends a group of soldiers reeling. Using this chance Athena follows it up with a volley of ice shards.

Bellerophon, spotting Nybeth charges him, moving at great speed he tries to thrust at the wizard.

Savranth, now clear of the Mess Hall begins to lead his troops towards a rear assault on the main unit. Even while Astasis leads his small group of mechs in search of him.
Savranth fires a lighting bolt at the rear of the enemy unit with his soldiers aiding in that.

The staff member looks at Jessica. "Do you know anything else about him? We had several people coming here with illnesses from there."

Envy's tentacles wrap around a few of them, but the one in front hearing the sounds has just enough time to react, jumping away as he watches his fellow guards die. "W-What are you?"

Lyra and her troupe wandered to stand next to Black, looking the battlefield over. "Take it you're new luv? Looks like the usual." Marcus asked her.

OoC: @Salty, wait, how many guards are there? I thought there were 2 or maybe 3 on the bottom floor

OoC: Whoops. Forgot to update the soldiers in that. I hadn't fully considered it all when I hit post. Fixed now.
@Furi: Well, even with three, one surviving isn't impossible. Plus, Envy is having it a little too easy. That can't be that much fun.

Ness scratches the back of her head slightly as she sees that no guard or anything of that sort came out. "It looks like... they really don't like you, Mr. Trilby. Excuse me a moment..." Ness walks outside the outpost and into the open, taking a deep breath in.

Yukino stared at the group of mechs in front of her and sighed as she snapped her fingers, creating six black holes to the side of her. With a point of her finger, each hole sends out an explosive projectile toward the group of mechs. [color=bb66bb] Damn it... There's no one to bleed out here... And it's getting kind of boring... [/color] Her ears droop as she muses to herself.

Black turned to Marcus, her scanner would be making various circles which scanned and locked onto Marcus. "Why yes...I am new to these parts...."and the same I'm not... She said to Marcus as she turned her attention back to the battlefield. "There a fight going on.....i doubt it's the place for animals..." Black said to the man who was riding up to her, still keeping her attention to the battle. it was Magic and machines...just a little more scanning should do...

"Misss Vanesssa!" Holly said as she and Echo found her, she ran up and hugged her.

"It's... just Trilby. And, okay. I'll... be here. Trilby replied.
Trying to get someone's FUCKING ATTENTION!" he suddenly bellowed, his normally calm expression turning to one of rage.

OoC: @Salty, ok, if I had known that I would have changed tactics, but alright.

In an effort to confuse the remaining guard Envy used a trick that he had used many times before. He ran at the guard while transforming to look and sound exactly like him, saying "What am I? It's you who killed them." He hoped that the shock of seeing this, combined with the guard looking at what was essentially a clone of himself, would stun him enough to give Envy an edge. He attacked with his arms again, though instead of tentacles they had formed into blades.
