Data looked at the crystals, and presses/pulls a few of them.[hr]
"Hey," Vagabond says, "Do you have a file on anyone named Lucia? Do you know where she lives?" he said, making gestures while doing so, along the lines of someone swirling their hands.

"Yes. I believe I've had my fill of talking with thick-skulled fools for the day." Nybeth replied directly to the Xiphatian soldier, not bothering to even address what Jason had said. He stood up and left the room, wearing an annoyed look on his face.

Jessica hummed to herself curiously as she noticed what she did had no effect. She went back to observing one of the other pinball players in an attempt to discern what she needed to do, or was doing wrong.

Ness curiously walked over at observed a game of Foosball going on nearby her to see how the things worked.

Jason was sent back to the room with his fellow soldiers.

The door was made of some strange unknown material. Not one Envy or probably anyone could identify.

The panel was much the same, though it had a small indention. It looked like a cylinder with two protrusions on the top and bottom could be inserted in the panel.

Nothing happens when Data presses the buttons.

Jessica would see no obvious difference. However, she may be able to smell magic coming from them. Magic that was being directed into the crystals.

Vanessa would see that the people playing the Foosball game seemed to be touching the crystals and little else.

"Lucia? Who are you to ask to see her?" The receptionist asked.

Marcus reached out and plucked up a beer, taking a long swig from it, smacking his lips to get a feel of the taste.

Based on the door in Rockbyrd, Envy assumed that he couldn't simulate a key for this door. Instead, he just decided to go for broke and attempted to damage the door with a powerful punch, his fist turning huge, green, and gnarled in the process.

"Someone she'll know when she meets him." he says, "I just want to see her."[hr]
Data looked at Lyra, "Would you mind loaning me three golden coins?" he asks.

Nybeth sighed and began strolling around the grounds of the base again, trying to get rid of his irritation at how his attempts at turning the Legaian prisoners traitor had gone.

Maybe they have to be manipulated with magic? Jessica curiously thought as she went over everything she knew about the pinball machine. ...Magic I don't even have. She gave up and went over to the table where Lyra and Marcus were seating. "So how's it going over here?"

Lyra grinned, and pulled out 3 gold coins. "sure Data. Just one catch. You believe Yatjua are primitive savages, correct?"

Ness casually started to twist and pull on the crystals, tilting her head slightly. ...Wait, Is this how you spin them again...? Or that way...? Eh...

Elsewhere Savranth was walking about the base, himself.

Envy's punch had no effect on the door.

Marcus would find that the beer had a rather pleasant taste, and wasn't bitter, nor did it leave an aftertaste in his mouth.

"As convincing an argument as that sounds, I think I'll have to pass on letting you meet Lucia." The receptionist replied.

"Actually, I stated that it appears quite primitive, due to the clan system being long-ago abandoned, replaced by democracy and such. However, Savage, Adjective, (of an animal or force of nature) Fierce, violent, and uncontrolled: 'a savage beast.' Your civilization has proven to be, for the most part, relatively civilized." he said.[hr]
"I assume saying please, or offering stuff that can't be hacked to bribe you is out of the question?"[/color] he said, bringing out his tablet.

With a "Hmph." Envy walked away from the door and looked out over the balcony at the lake "Eh, pretty nice place. Maybe I'll use this as a "lair" or something."

Marcus pulled the glass from him, eyes open in mock wonder. "it's...beautiful. Jessica, this drink must be made from the Black Warrior's sweat!" he took another long drink, draining the bottle before setting it down and sighing.
Lyra waved to Jess, and said "what, you think we don't have elections? No wonder you thought of us like that! Nah man, we have elections every 5 years. Just got re-elected clan leader last month."
OoC @Wacky who, the Yatjua? No fucking clue. We only get snippets from the books and movie. Best guess, they span the galaxy and view xenomorphs and humans as cute pasttimes. Something to kill between actual jobs.

Frustrated with her lack of progress with the Foosball table, Ness walks away and heads toward Marcus' table, listening a bit as she stretched herself out. She manages to hear Marcus' comment. "Hm...? Black Warrior? ...And why would you want to drink his/her/its sweat?"

"I see. I apologize for any insult I might have made, I appear to not know enough of your species." he says.

"That's a safe bet. Now, go before I call in the military."[/color] The receptionist replied, agitated by the obvious stalker.

OoC: @Wacky: Minus the inability to escape the atmosphere, they could travel in space. Lasers, mechs, and other such things. It's highly advanced. The standard rifle is armor piercing and they have equipment that enhances physical attributes by about 20-30% for standard soldiers. It could go toe to toe with any other tech.

"Huntress, Da would kill me for dropping Protestism. Thank the Black warrior for that car crash."
"I'd say so! No problems now though, you understand. Here you are." Lyra hands him the gold coins, watching Marcus and Nesd talk.
