Ness stood back and waited for Jess and Marston to leave. She nodded toward the cowboy's statement. "The faster we get moving, the better."

Leading Bertie into a room, the soldier sat down. "Okay, who are you and what do you know of that explosion and any sort of spy who may or may not be in our base?"

"Well, despite being outnumbers by a small amount, I hear they are holding their own. Some even think that they will push the enemy back before long."

The farm head looked at Tao. "Okay, so what position were you interested in?"

"One moment." the assistant said, going to go find Lucia.

"Doesn't really matter, meow." Tao said, being quite niaeve about how this whole "work" thing actually, well, worked.

Echo just gave Rex and Holly a small smile.

"Thank you for taking the time to see us." Jessica said to Tiberius as she left the office. Nodding at Ness' statement, she made her way out of the Main Building and towards the car Ness had parked outside, figuring that was how she was intending to leave.

Nybeth continued wandering around the Defense Base, looking for soldiers engaged in idle conversation to attempt to eavesdrop on. He made note of what he had heard and moved on, looking for more info.

After a while of flying, Loki and Rita could see the Xiphatian and Legaian fleet clashing. There were hundreds of airships, and countless mechs and flying golems. "Well now... This is not a thing I had expected to find. Why is it we never heard of matters such as these?" Loki commented, frowning upon seeing the fleet. He tugged on Fafnir's reins to the right, making Fafnir go in that direction, avoid getting any closer to the fleet herself.

"I'll admit, that I'm not. I can travel between dimensions by using the amulet I wear. Although I'm not all that familiar with how it works, having only used it three times thus far." Erica answered Yukino.

Trilby was sellotaping the plant back together and putting it in the pot when he spotted Jess.
He picked the potted plant up, and followed the catgirl back to the car.
"Hey." he said. "Uh... do you... like poorly re-assembled plants?"

"Probably. The General wants to keep the details a bit guarded so that he can avoid leaks and such."

"We'll start you in a position in the field tomorrow. Go home for the night and be ready to work early in the morning." The Farm Head said.

Since she wasn't particularly eager to get back into Ness' car, she stopped and waited next to it until she was signaled to enter, as she had begun to equate the terror of Ness' driving with the actual interior of the car itself. Hearing Trilby, she turned to face him and tilted her head curiously at the taped-up pot and plant her was carrying. "Uh, why do you ask? Do you not want to keep it?" She asked, pointing at what Trilby was holding.

I suppose I should wait here for the night if we are to move soon. Nybeth found a place in the courtyard and sat down, continuing to take in whatever he heard.

Ness calmly got herself into the car and began to rev it up a bit. "Aaaaalll aboard!" Looking at the plant Trilby had taped, Ness blinked a bit. "Well then... Why exactly did you do that?"
