Rita sighed "It's a planet called Terca Lumireis." she turned back to Savranth "Fine, fine, about that sword, how did it do that?"

Envy regenerated and transformed into his default disguise. "Fine, heh, you're lucky. You'll get to see something cool before you die!" said Envy as he began to transform, forming into his monster form and immediately firing 4 of his 8 legs towards the nearest predators, which could extend as needed. Although he was now much larger and seemingly bulkier his movement was faster than it had been before, and the strikes of his massive hands had the power to crush the bones of the average human in a single strike.

Loki left the palace and walked out into the courtyard. He looked just as unhealthy as he had the day before, with the exceptions of no longer having red rings under his eyes.

Reporting in that no Predators were hiding in the area surrounding Rockbyrd, those send out to search returned. The captain ordered the mechs to advance into Rockbyrd, with the soldiers following behind.

OoC @FPS: They were searching the surrounding area.

 

[Saltyk]

"Sorry to hear that, Jessica. Have you considered having a little healing magic used on your sore spots? You should know that the life expectancy in Xiphatia is pretty high largely due to the use of healing magic." Savranth said to the catgirl. He looked to Rita.
"No idea. I haven't had a chance to have anyone with the equipment or ability to look over it. It would probably require the use of Legaian tech, though."

 

[Drakmorg]

Jessica started idly flexing her left shoulder. "I'm not sure if that would help or not. I'm not really injured, just lacking in energy. Does Xiphatian magic have applications to restore biological energy?" Jessica looked over at Loki as he walked out, this time actually noticing his condition. At least I'm not the only one having a rough time.

 

[Furioso]

"I see, how does it work? Can I see it?" asked Rita, not noticing Loki due to her fascination with the sword.

 

[FPSfanatic]

Of the four directly attacked, they all had different responses.
The one with the red blade, (henceforth known as Red) swung both fists forward, propelling a force push with all his might to meet the fist.
Blue was too slow to react, being crushed. Thankfully, his armor took the brunt of the initial hit, buying precious seconds to ignite force lightning and grabbing onto Envy's atracking fist with both hands, sending blue prongs of electricity to begin dancing across her skin.
Yellow rolled out of the way of the fist, and hopped onto the arm it was connected to, running forward and slashing down with his lightsaber to open the flesh behind him.
Green performed a similar roll to Yellow, but instead ignited two sabers, driving them into Envy's arms in an attempt to saw it off.
The fifth power ranger, a purple blade in hand, extinguished his blade and began building force energy, looking for a point to deliver his power.
Tan meanwhile charged herself with the force, applying a shield of lightning over herself.

The Mechs would find the roads unsteady, as they had shifted slightly after the drone attacks.

 

[Saltyk]

"If you need energy, you should eat, then..." Savranth said to Jessica. He took out the Philopsher's Blade and held it out for Rita, allowing her to grab it by the hilt. "It reacts to magic. If you know the Xiphatian style of magic, you may be able to alter it's shape and even add functions. Took me a while to get it down well."

 

[Furioso]

Rita took the sword, and since she had been researching Xiphatian magic from pretty much the moment she had arrived, was able to successfully transform it into an elegant bladed whip. "Fascinating..."

The force push succeeded in slowing down Envy's hand, which angled downward and impacting the ground, spraying Red with a light amount of rock.

Envy roared as the lightning danced over him, his roar echoed by the hundreds of protruding faces on his skin, though his hand wasn't stopped as he grabbed Blue and began squeezing, aiming to crush his bones, likely knocking him out if successful.

Yellow's saber cut a large gash in Envy's arm, spraying blood, but as he ran he was grabbed and pulled down by hundreds of hands coming out of Envy's skin, which began clawing and tearing at Yellows face, eyes, ears armor, body, etc.

Green succeeded in sawing off an arm, and was consequently doused with more of Envy's blood.

To defend against both Purple and Tan, Envy turned, swinging his gargantuan tail into the rock ground spraying the two with a great deal of rock shards and debris

 

[Chungus]

"Picking up where we had last left off, we have yet to think of a means to reach this island." Loki anounced, walking over to Savranth, Rita, Jessica and Grace. "And a place from where to depart."
He looked at Rita as she morphed the Philosopher's Blade into a bladed whip with minor interest.

Two of the mechs walked towards what had been Icarus's palace while the remaining eight stood at the center of Rockbyrd, each facing a diferent diraction. Individual soldiers began searching the ruined buildings for corpses.

OoC @Furioso: How far away is Envy from Rockbyrd?

Snapping out of what seemed like a trance, Ness sighed a bit before looking at her map. So... that lead's gone with means I need to try and find a new one. That Envy character got his hands on one and now that I think about it, I've never seen him around here... which may mean he's been running around Legaia when he got that key. Well, maybe I'll manage to fit in over there. Hopefully Jessica won't mind me going there either. Speaking of, I should try to go and check on her at some point today.

Tucking her device away, she emerged from the alleyway she was in and began to make her way toward Port Letosh from Lakewest.

OoC: @Nail, I have no idea, he was jumped pretty much right after leaving from his spot near Holadino, so lets say halfway between the two

"I suppose eating again would be a pretty good idea." Jessica mused aloud to herself in the wake of Savranth's suggestion. "We should probably find a place to leave from before thinking of how to leave said place. Dunno where to leave from though....I'll be right back." She said to Loki before hustling off into the palace. Assuming the King had a policy of feeding his guests, she'd shortly return with some food that could be easily eaten with one hand.

 

[Saltyk]

"Not bad. You're only the second person to do that. Even my- Even Tiberius couldn't transform that blade." Savranth said to Rita.
"Anyway, we should be okay from the coast. That would likely be a wise move."

[hr]

The people in the kitchen would serve Jessica, though they may give her an odd look.

 

[Furioso]

Rita returned the sword to its original shape and handed it back to Savranth "Thanks, I'd like to study that some time if that's alright with you. As Loki said, we don't have transportation yet, any plan?"

 

[Chungus]

"The coast it is. And I believe the suggestion was made to use a fishing boat as transportation. But, who would sail this boat? And perhaps it is true that we may approach the island using that mode of transport, but how are we to land there without being spotted?"

 

[Drakmorg]

Jessica came back to the gathering outside eating whatever the Xiphatian royalties equivalent of a sandwich was. In between bites, she suggested, "I'm still alright with the fishing boat idea. Other than that, I don't have much for ideas." Would hijacking a Legaian ship of some kind work?...Probably not. I doubt any of us knows how to work something like that. I certainly don't.

Ness continued on toward the Port before facepalming herself. Freaking clip! What am I doing?! ...Then again, the Legaians know who I am.. I think. I should probably not just warp myself into their cities. She calmly tapped her clip as she was walking out of Lakewest's city limits and teleported to Holadino, behind Felina's house.

Afterward, she continued walking toward Port Letosh.

OoC: And I'll leave the movement time to GMs.

Blue channeled his lightning for a few moments more before eventually passing out from the pressure.
Yellow grit his equivalency of teeth and began building the force in him, before channeling it out against the skin he was held against. If the force push worked, he'd be sent tumbling like a cannonball away from envy.
Red stabbed his saber into Envy's arm and began building the force within him, channeling it into his free hand.
Green barely registered the blood as he hurled both blades at Envy's face, guiding them as they flew.
Tan protected purple by catching the larger detritus, letting the smaller bits ping off of him. Purple, finished with his channeling, hurled a spear of lightning at Envy's rear, aiming to blast off his lower section.

Once the 8 mechs took center stage, the trap began. The mines laced throughout the rock during the cities construction detonated. This would be sizeable, but survivable if the soldiers had been at the edge of it. This turned the center of Rockbyrd into a charnel pit of flames, as four different sets of mines converged there.
At the edges of Rockbyrd, on its ramparts, the 9 remaining Cobras that had deployed with the general's force uncloaking, having staid stock still until this point. Using Blazers, they targeted the drones overhead with the express purpose of shooting them down.

"As long as you give it back, that will be okay." Savranth said sheathing the sword. "There was a boat captain I met the other day. Said he was retired. He would probably be willing to sail it for us. And we could possibly try a small boat to go ashore... I'm not sure."

OoC: There are no mines under the city... It's at the foot of a mountain and the mines are IN the mountain.

 

[Furioso]

"Well I'm not going to steal it. And how large is the boat? I doubt Legaia wouldn't be on the lookout." replied Rita to Savranth

Once Blue passed out Envy quickly tossed him into his mouth, eating him.

Yellow was successful in getting away from Envy, but at the same time a few chunks of him would be missing, left in the clutches of a few of the hands that had managed to grasp onto flesh. (I'll let you decide how badly that hurts him)

Envy roared as Reds blade sliced into his arm, but as this occurred the fingers of that hand that were underground shot out of the ground ambushing Red at different angles, having become spear like tentacles.

Green's blades were right on the mark, one slicing the cheek while the other cut open his eye, causing him to wail a pitiful wail from the extreme pain, but the arm that Green had sliced off had regenerated and had now grabbed Green as he was focused on guiding the blades and looking up, squeezing him much like he had done to Blue.

Envy was able to dodge the lightning spear simply by turning his rear section away from the spear, taking advantage of his full speed, but as a result he wasn't able to counterattack Tan or Purple.
