Fafnir uttered a low grunt when Jessica approached and climbed on, but did little else, having grown accustomed to people riding her.
"Indeed she would not." he chimed in on Rita. "You will need to hold on to the straps infront of you, however." he added, looking over his shoulder to Jessica. Once he saw she grabbed onto the reins, Loki looked back straight ahead and ordered Fafnir to take off.

Yuki calmly shifted to the side and aimed a stab toward BlackGold's leg, making sure to stay off course with Black as she did.

Ness tilted her head slightly as she heard Jessica. "That... kind of sounds like some sort of magic. ...Are you sure you're alright? You sound a bit nervous." She teleported herself to the Fourside city limits and began walking to the city from there.

Rita enjoyed the ride, having started to grow accustomed to flying.

Hush, I'm working. thought Envy to White as she jumped into the air to avoid both strikes, swiping at Blacks head as he passed over her. "Fight or die!"

 

[Drakmorg]

"T-That wasn't really what I was afraid of." Jessica replied, calmer now that she was actually on the dragon, but still not entirely so. She did as Loki instructed her to do and grabbed hold of the reins to keep herself from falling off. "Might have been." Jessica closed her eyes and hummed to herself for a moment. "Yep. It's magic. I think he put some kind of enchantment on me that helps me focus my thoughts. A-And I'm just riding some sort of giant lizard thing right now. I was afraid it might kill me."

 

[Chungus]

After some time of flying, Fafnir arived back at the mountain range. Steering Fafnir to the space between the dragon den and Nybeth's cave, Loki pulled back on the reins, making Fafnir land. As this happened, once more, he said, "Land." to make Fafnir ascociate landing with that paticular word. Once on the gorund, Loki began wlaking towards Nybeth's cave. "Once we enter the cave, try not to vomit." he said to Jessica.

 

[Furioso]

Rita hopped off Fafnir and followed Loki, bracing herself for the smell.

Ness nodded a small bit as she continued to walk toward Fourside. "I see. I guess my first impression of him was wrong. So what are you guys planning on doing now?"

 

[Drakmorg]

The smell coming from Nybeth's cave was thicker and more unpleasant than ever, so much so that Jessica couldn't help but start gagging after only taking a few steps towards it. "I think I'll just wait back here by the big scary dragon if that's alright." She called to Loki and Rita. "Well looking for the base turned out to be a dead-end path to take. So for now we're working on a back-up plan to end the war."

Nybeth would be in the main chamber of his cave as he always was. Having had plenty of time to work, he had patched up every significant issue he could find all the zombified Legaians, and was now simply busying himself with correcting minor issues.

"Very well then." Loki said to Jessica, stopping momentarily to turn to her. Having said that, he took a breath of fresh air before entering the cave, the foul smell being an indicator Nybeth was present if ever there was one. Noy being completely able to stomach the smell himself, Loki lingered near the entrance of the cave as he had done the last time he visited Nybeth. "Nybeth. If you would care to come here. I have a matter that I require your assistance with." he called out.

As she approach Fourside, Ness would see five military airships circling the city's airspace. A number much smaller then would expect from Legaia's second largest city.

 

[Furioso]

With the smell as bad as it was Rita decided to just head back out to where Jessica was "...They probably don't need me for anything in there anyways."

 

[Drakmorg]

Nybeth hustled out to meet Loki at the entrance of his cave. "How fortuitous! So much time spent in that cave with so little to do, I was nearly contemplating suicide as a method to study death more closely." He said, seeming happy to see Loki. "What is it you require?"

Jessica took note of Rita coming back to wait with her. "Who is this Nybeth person anyway?" She asked, wanting to get a feel for who she would be dealing with, as well as possibly getting an explanation for why the place they had come to look for Nybeth smelled so atrocious.

Ness noted the lack of airships as a sign that Legaia was still fighting out there somewhere. She suddenly was reminded of Marston and began to wonder about him. She teleported to Holadino and began to look for the man.

"A back-up plan? What's that?" She curiously telegraphed to Jess.

 

[Furioso]

"A necromancer. He brings the dead back to life, not fully, they're still pretty much corpses, but they can still follow his commands. I assume we're going to have him raise an army of the dead in Xiphatia." replied Rita, looking back towards the cave.

 

[Chungus]

OoC @Drakmorg: That was funny. :3

"I see. Well, worry not, there would be deaths should this plan go as desired." Loki said with a smirk, stepping outside the cave now that Nybeth had come up from the main chamber. "Come. I shall dicuss the specifics with our allies." With that, Loki joined with Rita and Jessica, waiting for Nybeth to join also.

Marston happened to wander out of a local bar that he had made his favorite haunt, given his massive amount of down time he found himself with. He had worked out a deal with the management to let him drink and sleep there for little money by keeping things peaceful in the place, acting as a bouncer essentially. He lit up a cigaret and smoked it outside.

@Nailik: I still gots it.

"Uh...we're working on getting the Xiphatian royalty to be more accepting of peace talks with the Legaians." Jessica mentally replied to Ness, hastily thinking up what to say. "Ohhhh. That must be why this place smells so horrible."

Nybeth followed after Loki. Having spent so much time around corpses in such a tight environment, he himself now completely stank of corpse-rot, the smell clinging to his clothes and skin.
Picking up on the smell from Nybeth coming closer and getting stronger, Jessica covered up her nose and started breathing through her mouth.

Noting Marston nearby, Ness ran up to him and waved. "Ah... there you are, Mr. Marston! There may be a way to get you off this planet... perhaps not to your home planet, but at least off here. Are you interested?"
