Seeing Rita start attacking it, he shrugged and did so as well. "Bring the pain to blood and flesh, this demon cast from mortal coil!" A ball of purple energy was fired from the tip of his walking stick at the creature. When the ball struck something, it would explode out into a dozen blades composed of dark energy that would slash through whatever the ball had impacted with. I guess I'll simply have to perform and autopsy to find out what it is.

@Fur, altered, it's more redirection then anything. Think that one scene in Kung-fu-panda, only with dark tentacles.
