I was thinking that we need more names for the types of genre's that are out there.
Games are lumped into "action adventure" and "RPG" all too easy.
Why not come up with some new genre's?
Game are a new medium and so doesn't have it's genre's set in stone yet.
From what I can gather If your game has a menu system or an EX progression system you are put into the "RPG" crowd even if you have no real role playing.
And action adventure is a weird place were you can meet any kind of game.
So do you think we need new genres or not, can you made come up with some new genre name even?
