Probably a M4-A1 with a grenade launcher attached and a Red dot scope.
It could also be a M24.
Fuck it i'll go with the AK, you can't go wrong with the AK.

Oh, I'm just a guy with a cane, just walking along, oh wait, now it's a sword! That's right, step back!
Classy indeed. Spring loaded?
Note for me, a simple tug and twist mechanism. Means it's nice and reliable.

Very nice indeed. I ask because the spring load mechanism has been known to backfire

Would have to say custom made dual pistols plus a samurai sword for close quarter combat. Bring it!

Thats because they were generally used by samurai on horseback, as the length is slightly impractical on foot.

OT: I'd probably have a customised pair of SIG P250's, chambered for .45 ACP rounds

And I call shotgun on this baby, and all of its forms.

@Megalodon Obsidian is used in medical scalpels, because it has the potential to be ridiculously sharp. The whole blade doesn't have to be obsidian, just the edge.

A USAS-12 automatic shotgun. I would go with the AA-12, but the drum magazines seem to big to carry a lot of them. Plus, the USAS just looks cooler.

If we're talking fictional weapons, the Dark Energy Gravity Gun from Half Life 2. It'll be fast- but it won't be painless.

Thus is the reason why ancient central american cultures such as the Atecs used them in the construction of their "swords". Essentially clubs lined with obsidian blades.
