Scythe! Idc if it's a "garden tool" I don't play fantasy games because they make sense. Also those ninja sickle and chain things, those are bad ass but never used.
I agree with you. My rogue uses a scythe in D&D for no other reason than I fucking can. Sure a greatsword has a higher average damage, but it isn't a goddamn scythe!
WRAI!?!?! I can think of no reason for a rogue to have a great sword beyond they stole it from someone and plan on selling it. Oh dear... You play 4th don't you?

I have never seen a mace and chain done, but someone mentioned that it might be difficult to animate? Idk it's obviously not as simple as a single solid weapon, it has many parts and if you take shortcuts it may just look like a solid weapon but i really have no idea.
Twilight Princess had a Ball and Chain, but that's as close as I've ever seen.

I want morningstars and flails!

bayonets are underused. as well as sabers.
This, is a really good point. What the hell happened to all the bayonets? and sabers. Katanas aren't the only good sword out there!
finally someone who likes sabers two. and bayonets are easier to use in FPS why waste the time yanking a knife out when its attached to your weapon just stab.

Cross bows are too seldom used. They are very capable killing machines that benefit from no muzzle flash, near silence, and extreme lethality with the right head design.

This is a joke, right?

OP: Few games have the shield used as a weapon... I'd like to see more of that.

However, I have yet to see a shoe-knife in a game. The closest I have gotten is the grieve edge from Soul Caliber III.

No, Pathfinder. I got tired of dex-based rogues. I wanted to build a thug rouge. It is entirely for fun. I am surprised he isn't dead actually.

(I am actually going for Shattered Defenses. It was my first Pathfinder character and I am still playing with the rules and new feats. I have a much more practical alchemist now.)

That game is at my hobby shop, and you get to play it for FREE

OT: Unhatched eggs, the last time I remember being able to do that was on Yoshi's Island.

A shovel. You never get to kill things with shovels. I mean, I would expect at least 1 zombie game to let me kill things with shovels, but NO.
Fallout? Theres zombie-type things, and shovels. And Minecraft! There are zombies. You have shovels.

AAAANNNYYYWAAYYY I've always wanted to get a bunch of headphones and tie them together to use as a makeshift flail.

Why would it be?
10 of the top of my head:

Virtua Fighter
Blaz Blue
King of Fighters
WWF games (If I actually named all of them, I'd be here all day)
UFC games
EA's MMA
STREET FIGHTER
Teken
All of the DragonBall Games
Kung Fu

It is not seldom used at all; in fact, it is quite popular.

Well if you wanna be technical, and disregard the majority of those as 1v1 fighting games. There are very few games that are like, for a lack of better example, enter the matrix where you felt like a Kung Fu God (till the agents showed up) that play from the 3rd person perspective.

@various people

Dynasty Warriors 6 had whips used by two female characters. Also Dynasty Warriors 7 will have a chain and mace.

Also the Fallout series has had plenty of shovels.

Also Dynasty Warriors 4 and 5 had a character who used a buckler blade as a weapon. It's a shield with a blade tucked into it that can taken out at will to be used a seperate blade.

Warhammer and Warhammer 40k games have plenty of hammers used in them; small, spiked, large, warhammers(duh), power hammers and even hammers that have been converted into chainsaws.

As far as I know the only game EVER to incorporate a balisong (butterfly knife) is TF2. It disappoints me.

We need more Thief II style arrows ie. Moss, fire, water. Those arrows that were more designed for modifying the area around you rather than killing something.

I'd love to see a game where you can kill your enemies with an acid bassline.
Quick! Get to cover! They've got:

I would be pleased.
