Websites to host Art.

Hi I was just thinking: I have all this art lying around and I would like to have somewhere to show it to build up some kind of portfolio. I am aware of Deviant Art but was wondering if anybody knew of any other good websites to host Art. Thank You.

Art-wise not really. If you're looking to build a professional Portfolio, There's actually a special section for DeviantART users to create one, however I'm not sure if you need to be a Premium DevART User to access the feature.

Depends what kind of response you want. Conceptart.org and cghub are sites for professionals who want a serious critique of their work. Deviantart is more for the general population, and by comparison is laid back and full of 15-year-olds.

I use deviantart for fun and sites like polycount for getting feedback in general, but I use Carbonmade for hosting my professional portfolio that I'd show for actual job-related things. It's a simple and clean site, doesn't offer much in the way of customization, but it gets the job done well enough.
