Weird Burglary

Summary:

In October the woman in the story noticed a lot of things going missing from her home, crock pots, ice cream maker, and valuable coins. She buys a 250$ Surveillance system and her husbands says she wont find anything. For months, she doesn't, then recently she goes and finds that her neighbor, and 3 other people were going into her house and taking things through the doggy door. (I'd advise reading the whole article to get a full understanding)


Question is: Why did it take so long to even catch these people? And why would the husband be so nonchalant about the missing items... I would be afraid to even live there... :|

Well when the police doesnt catch right away these types of burglars in the first days they stop caring. Simple as that.

The husband took the "bah dont care" attitude, call it bad luck and move on.

I bet his wife is nagging his brains right now. "Told you so!!"

Probably very smug on her investment too. Just, mind boggling that people would react so uncaring to someone entering their house and taking things for months.
