I often find myself quoting lines from the game in Bane's (TDKR version) voice. It's pretty funny hearing "Rejoice brother! We're not copies of our father after all!" in that weird accent.

In 4X games I almost always used to focus on a very small but powerful and focused empire. Like say in Civ V I would have 3 founded cities max with an average of about 2 per game and I would just make those cities into industrial, scientific and economic powerhouses. The AI however always found my lack of empire as a sign of weakness and would move to crush me if I spawned too closely to them. But they would almost never take my cities because I have a military 2X the size of theirs defending a fraction of the territory.
However on the much harder difficulties I'd get steamrolled.

Now I am moving away from that model by taking a policy of quick and early expansion. In Gal Civ II for example I'd quickly set up dozens of colonies in the first 100 or so turns in the game. Sure most of them would be undefended until mid game but the population gives me a massive bonus early on in diplomacy and later on the tax revenue would be so immense that I could buy a 100 ship strong series of fleets with the best tech available in a few turns.

I'm just not too aggressive in strategy games since I mostly go for Tech or Culture victories.

Also I collect one of every book in the elderscrolls games. When I'm playing one I have a list of all the books in the specific game I'm playing right next to me, guifing me towards more words.

Exploring everything, I guess. But I don't have OCD, and I don't really think its very cool to loosely use it, since its a medical condition that breaks freedom of will.

Im a bit OCD when it comes to quest logs. I hate seeing unfinished quests. If I get a quest, Im compelled to do it. Even in MMOs. I hate it.

In any Elder Scrolls game, if I read a book, and it gives a skill up, I keep it. Even if it means Im burdened, and have to throw away a piece of gear.

Im a compulsive reloader. Horrible habit by the way. If I kill an enemy, I reload. Middle of a fight? Who cares! Reloading. lol

If theres a mini map, you better believe that no piece of that map will be unexplored!

Yeah... I have a few. haha
Don't you hate those moments when your "talk with your fists" warrior gets stuck with a stealthy infiltration quest?
Not really. Thats what Light armor is for! =p....... Yes.

OCD regarding items/ammo in shooters.

It shows badly in games such as Bioshock Infinite.

I horde named weapons in games like Fallout or Skyrim. I even go so far as to make elaborate displays with them in my houses. You would not believe how hard that was to do with the Oblivion physics engine.

I restart games a LOT.

depending on the game, I might restart if:

-I screw up some feature of character creation
-I get a better idea for a character 2 seconds into playing the first character
-I take too long to name my character
-I miss some missable thing, even if it's possible to come back later and get it
-It's Sunday or Monday or Tuesday etc. etc.

Ive had this so much

once when playing DA:O i noticed there was something on my character i didnt like, it was bugging me but i didnt know what it was. However after the battle of Ostagar and half way through the village shortly after i realised it. My character's eyebrows were a slight shade too dark... going to have to restart

I have a habit of taking out my weapon and holstering it. Taking out my weapon holstering it. Taking out my weapon holstering it. Taking out my weapon holstering it. It just always feels like I need to check something all the time. If you can't holster than I just swap. Bonus points if they have a smooth, cool looking take-out animation.

Inventory management... any game that has an inventory, it must be pristine and organized or I can't function. Which is completely at odds with my not-digital life where I prefer it disorganized.

Also, in stealth games, I must be completely 100% stealthy or I restart. Some games there's some leniency where you can be spotted or even shot, but if you go hide you can live and try again. But I don't allow it, I must be maximum stealthy.

In the new Tomb Raider I have to collect every document/artifact/GPS cache as well as complete all challenges. Mostly for all the XP so I can spend those points.
That must be terrible. I couldn't wait to finish the game considering how boring it was, so I rushed through it as fast as I could ignoring all that crap.

My first play through on an RPG is as a Warrior, despite the fact that I don't like playing as a warrior and preferRogue.

Also, I tend not to install any skins, extra levels, etc until my second go. I do not know why I do these things.

If by "terrible" you mean fun? Yeah. I love the new Tomb Raider.

I know, I know... the universe is coming to an end, someone doesn't share your opinion!

When stealing is an option, I must steal everything that can be stolen.
When multiple characters, classes, races, options or other insignificant customization options exist, I must start over repeatedly and decide which path/options I like best.

Reload after every kill every time. Even if another enemy is in the midst of blowing my face open, I will reload my gun before attacking him. Games like Bioshock and Dead Space have done that to me, so when I played a brief stint of Call of Duty, I HAD to take sleight of hand as a perk because otherwise I would be killed constantly while in the middle of reloading.

I don't know if any particular game did this, or if was just me as an individual from an era where you couldn't save at your leisure playing games where it was finally a thing...but I find that I often save a bunch. Perhaps a bit too much at times. Being a perfectionist also doesn't help.

I must collect everything in Castlevania games and explore every nook and cranny. The worst case was in Harmony of Dissonance where there are two realms and all the collectibles are furniture you can put in a select room in the castle
