Assuming you've actually moved on. Rebounding would not be a good idea, assuming of course that you're actually looking for a relationship and not just casual sex. Make sure that you have not only gotten over her, but learned from the relationship, and focus on those lessons rather than on her.

I recently broke up with my girlfriend of a year and a half. It's only been two months, much shorter than my last recovery time, and I just recently started dating another girl. I thought it strange, and "emotional me" still kind of has a problem with how fast it goes. But I was able to display to myself that I had in fact recovered from the loss and moved on: lessons learned. This is important if you want to have a healthy relationship after breaking up. However, this is again assuming you are looking for a real relationship (as I believe should be the only purpose for one in the first place), and not just someone to screw.

Is hitting on chicks unusual for you? Where you flirting frequently before you went out with your ex?

I say you shouldn't be flirting with other girls immedatly after breaking up with someone, it could hurt your ex's feelings. It's usually best to wait a month or so, or if you really like someone, flirt quietly and hope they don't notice. Assuming that flirting is unusual for you, perhaps going out with this someone has given you a lot more confidence however the break up could have given you feelings of isolation and abandonment, hence the flirting- you want to be loved again.

The problem is that if you keep on going around like this your going to gain a negative reputation. You need to find distractions from this, spending time with friends and working on your relationships with them might be helpful- and you'll find someone soon enough. For now, focus on different things such as video games, watching copious amounts of anime and hanging out with friends.

It sounds like you're on the rebound. While that's normal, it's not a good idea; most rebounds don't work out and usually just end up getting hurt.

you're an incompetent twit who can't figure out that you've just moved on

it's perfectly fine but if your ex hasn't moved on then it's incredibly insensitive

The Ex hates me, I don't really give a shit about her feelings.
