I used the search and couldn't find such a topic, so please forgive me if this is a repost.

I'm wondering what are some weird things about you. Do you have small and strange pet peeves? Do you do things that others would laugh at you if they found out you did? Well, now through the power of the internet we can share those things!

Things that bother me:
*It bugs me when people leave the toaster out.
*It bugs me when someone leaves a cupboard door open.
*It bugs me when there is left over time on the microwave.
*It bugs me when someone leaves a pot soaking for like 3 days.

weird things about me:
*When I'm alone I'll sometimes talk to myself in various accents, especially when I'm debating school work with myself.
*If I'm the passenger in a car I pretend (in my head) I have a laser that cuts down things as we drive by.

well, what about you?

When im in a car I imagine this - / - \ - / - \ - / - \ i put a line inbetween each and every white line on the ground, and i also draw a line in between each low gutter that is drive ubable, i keep count on how many i can get in a row before i have to restart.

And things that annoy me is when a group is close together and there is something on the back of a person, i want/need to take that off there back, but it looks really weird me doing that...

I hate household lights seriously i hate how mine are yellow-ish, household lights will destroy humanity's ability to see in the dark.

Also people in front of me walking slowly, move fatty!!! some of us want to move faster than 2km/h!!!

weird things: I love climbing things, if I see a fence I'll climb over it instead of walking through the through the opening normal people walk through, whenever I'm forced to play tennis I climb my way in.

I HATE cars, I hate being driven, driving, looking at cars, being near cars, even the word car! I become homicidal when people start listing car names.

When I was a baby I had to have 2 pacifiers.

also if I'm coloring something in like the words on the covers of my school books, I sometimes go into a trance and feel like I just woke up when I snap out of it.

I never think unless I consciously make myself think.

I run or jog everywhere I go, I don't like to walk.

For me the best feeling is accelerating while running so I start slowly and accelerate over a long period, love it.

I don't like symmetry, I like to have one sock a bit lower than the other or one side of my shirt hanging out. I think symmetry is boring.

Weird thing that bothers me is a cupboard door being slightly crooked.

A weird thing about me is that when i'm walking home i seem to imagine that there may be snipers on the rooftops or a zombie horde might blitz me at any moment.

I like to collect pictures of people on the toilet XD
And before you freak out, no not like that... It has to have some artistic credibility and it isn't people goingto the toilet... they are just on the toilet...

and when im the passinger in a car (front seat) I tend to clench the muscles under my knees and I would "jump" over things by un clentching my kness, then clench the muscles in my groin and then back again...it keeps me entertained :|

I talk to people I haven't seen in a while with a British accent, and pretend I've been talking like that my whole life.

I have insomnia, and am known to pace at night.

I have a love of musical theater. And I'm NOT gay. Thats a pretty weird one.

I love kittens, but hate cats with a passion. Once they grow up, I despise them.

I'm OCD about a lot of things.
I group mostly everything in 3's
For instance...
If I go to eat chinese food, I get 3 pieces of chicken and 3 something else and three something else.

If I'm eating a meal I can only have 3 different foods on my plate, but not necessarily 3 pieces, it would be stupid to have 3 pieces of corn on your plate, for example.
I'm obsessed with the number 3, you can see it all around my house, things are in groups of 3, I just think it's a good solid number and stuff.

I also clean my bathtub with bathroom clean EVERYTIME before I take a shower or bath.

I rarely beat videogames, because I have to COMPLETELY FULLY and ENTIRELY get every single thing in the videogame, every item, every goal must be met. If I am not satisfied, I will start the game over, because it has to be right. I know it's weird, and frustrating, but thats how it is. For instance, in ZELDA Twilight Princess, I realized I was missing 3 hearts when I was at a certain point of the game. I started over and I sat and watched hours of walkthroughs til I found the hearts I missed. Talk about gaming OCD..haha. Or in classic mario I have to search for every possible thing to get points, or kill every enemy, or else I feel that I haven't completed the game.

My Dad was born with only 9 toes.
I wasn't told that the Tooth Fairy didn't exist. I set up an experiment and disproved it for myself.
Sometimes I wouldn't be surprised if I turned out to be an artificial intelligence of some sort.
And my first word was "stuck".

-I absolutely hate when someone would tell me to do something that I'm about to actually get up and do in under 15 minutes. I hate it even more when I've had it pounding at the back of my head for half the day.

-When I play a game and I'm not performing to my standards. I personally tend to be rather inconsistent in my abilities which tends to drive me nuts. When I'm at the top of my game I slaughter even some of the better players. Sometimes I'll hardly keep up with the average players. Drives me insane.

A couple weird (although weird is a subjective term really) things about me.

-I'm a bit of a fetishist. I'm not into anything really extreme, but a girl who can put on a sexy latex outfit will drive me wild. Some roleplaying is also fun.

-That bottle of Vaseline in my desk is not used for what you think it is. I use it for my chapped lips sometimes. Honest!

! I do the laser thing too! I also have really weird non-sensical sayings. Especially when I play games online. In Streetfighter 4 I say "ahh shit my neck out of my ear!" when I'm losing and I say "piss in my arse and call me Barbara" when I win. Thankfully I don't have a headset :D

Without a formal definition of weird, I'll just mention a few things I do/about me that have never seemed normal in my mind.

I cannot stand some open doors. The kitchen door is open, and that's okay, but if the door to the sitting room was open I would be freaking out.

Apart from in the conservatory/dining room, or when I'm watching TV with the family, I cannot stand being in the same room as someone else at home. Espesh on the computer.

I have an extra tooth in my mouth, and the nails on my baby toes are messed up, and until I was about six I thought that was normal. Then I saw other people's feet, and realised I was the freaky one.

I am 100% neutral on almost all topics. Generally I can see both sides of a situation, which means often I contradict people on things I don't even care about, just because I understand why people can think the opposite.

I am also the most stubborn person possible. At the age of five, I refused to go back to ballet because the teacher wouldn't let me be a black fairy. Honestly.

And finally, my hairdresser has told me my hair is naturally the kind of colour that women pay thousands of pounds to get it dyed properly. It's really golden blonde (I mean properly golden). So what do I do? Dye it ginger. In your face, glow in the dark orange type ginger.

About your first point, I'm guessing you may have some dark side of your personality that nobody ever sees or knows about? Just curious, since I kind of have the same thing (I have a morbid fascination with the macabre, and nobody seems to realise that I have some pretty sadistic tendencies within my own mind. I honestly worry myself sometimes.). As for the second point, I quite like ginger girls, I reckon more girls should be ginger and red heads :)

Anyway, on topic, I can't really post much on this thread because there's a severe danger of me running off into a huge wall'o'text. So to cut it down to the basics:

- I've always been a really independent person even when I was little and never quite realised until Sixth Form how strange I seemed to be to other people
- I have a morbid fascination with the macabre (see comment above)
- I do extremely strange things within my head sometimes, similar to the in-car mind games that people referenced in earlier posts, like the whole 'laser' thing that AC10 does
- I used to imagine I was in a real life version of the Truman Show (great film, by the way)
- I occasionally have a TV serial running in my head of different film/TV ideas that I come up with (not entirely a problem as I'm involved in my university film-making society).
- I occasionally imagine myself as a supporting character in TV shows/games/books/etc.

Weel, I guess maybe I have a darker side to my personality - there have been some pretty messed up thoughts going through my head. But I think at that point I was just trying to be individual, I've never been happy about people telling me what to do, so the fact I couldn't make my own decision meant I turned around and said, fine, ballet sucks.

As for the ginger thing, interesting. Most guys either don't care or think I'm crazy.

I have this weird quirk. Whenever I cup my hands together and shout "Kamehameha", this weird ball of energy forms in my hands. I've broken a lot of crap around the house because of this...well and the house itself. I have to actively tell myself not to do it. It's kind of like shaking leg syndrome, but with an energy attack.

I am a writer with an overactive imagination. If I don't concentrate on anything, my imagination runs away with me to the point where I see and experience something created in my mind, such as a scene I am brainstorming or writing at the time. I literally jump into scenes I create. My eyes (according to witnesses) become spaced out and not even sound snaps me out of it. When I eventually come back, I'm usually forgetful and dazed, giving people who don't know me well the thought that I'm on drugs or something. I just read too much.
