Why cant you just get a vacuum while gaming so you have your hands free :D
vacuum cleaners scare me...
I also tend to play either "yakety sax" or "you're the best around"

I didn?t notice till I started playing games with my friends online or in person, they all tell me that I take a short breath and hold it when I?m shooting.

Must be from what I was taught at the gun range lol.

When i'm really immersed, i tend not to blink and often need to remind myself to do it.

Bobbing my head to side REALLY quickly, it's like I suddenly came down with parkensons...

I catch myself grunting when I get hit. And if I'm critical and limping, I find myself moaning over it.

lol

When I thinking about something totally unrelated and only play the game subconciously, I start completely owning up everyone I meet.

Yelling at the stupid allies as my butt gets riddled with bullets for and 18th time. Or yelling at the enemies to die after I have unloaded into them with a full clip for the 3rd time.

If it's a first person game I'll tend to make facial expressions of what I imagine my character would be doing depending on the situation. Take Half-life 2 for example, look mad as I beat a metro cop to death with my crowbar, look worried as the teleporter buggers up, gape slack jawed when Alyx first enters the room...and you see that sweet automatic pistol of hers in action. If I'm playing co-op with a mate and the game becomes really immersive, I'll act like one of those war heros in the movies. You know, the kind who always say things like "I'll make a dash to the right, you lay down some cover fire" as they lie next to their friend in a trench being assaulted by bullets.

While playing FPS I pretty much try to copy my character EXACTLY. One time my friend watched me while playing cod 4 and laughed his ass off. Also I noticed one time while I was playing guitar hero 3 I would move my mouth to where the note is positioned along the line.

Oh yea Also in game I act as if I'm in reality, like if I got to hide behind a corner I will make my mouse move exactly like you would in reality and give it a great surrealism effect.

Lastly I end up screaming at the idiotic characters like in L4D when Louis runs past me while I'm down. "DAMMIT LOUIS I'M OVER HERE YOU F***"

I lick the right corner of my mouth if I'm concentrating. The standard of cursing loudly and flaying lambs alive when I lose also applies here.

In DA:O I have caught myself caring about the characters which means I now care about 0s and 1s more than I do real people.

I dont do this anymore, but I used to move the controller a lot, like during a driving game, thinking that if I turned the controller, it would make the car turn better. Ahhh childhood stupidity. :)

Hmm...whenever I've been deeply immersed in a game, I usually pick up the characters mannerisims that I see in the game (walking, talking, sitting etc) and use them in real life for hours afterward. Or I'll grunt and make noise when the character gets hit.

Or talk to the characters talking to my player character...did that a lot while I was playing Assassin's Creed today...
