During tense moments where theres nothing on screen, but I'm totally expecting someone to come out of nowhere and gun me down,, my eys will flick across the screen like crazy, looking for the first sign their there.

I love this topic.
I bite my fingernails all the god damn time while playing games. Particuarly at loading screens. I hate doing it though =/
If there is someone else in the vacinity of me playing the game, I tend to talk out loud more than I would if I'm alone. I think thats pretty weird because I thought it would always be the opposite.

I don't do anything weird, and I know, because I let my friends know what they do weird, and I am certain they would do the same for me.
The most common thing I see other people doing is arching their head around the virtual corner, on a 2D flat screen.
Another thing I see is people steering the controller while playing racing games (Sixaxis turned off, with games that support it).
And the worst of all, I have only one friend who does this, thank god. He blocks out nearly every sound he hears. I try to talk to him, but it seems that he is 100% concentrated on the game. I could play two games at once, and talk to someone better than he can, he is that bad.

Only if it's video happy though. I do the same with tv shows though.
Aparantly even at 20 I'm still impressionable. Which is unfair as I'm only a few days over 19 when it was at least STILL slightly socially accpetable.

If the game pisses me off, I usually throw the controller at the TV. Or if I really like the game, I talk along with the main character.
In most games I try to argue with an unseen referee, especially when i'm doing poorly.
Like "Did you see that? That's completely unfair! the bullet hit my ANKLE!!"
or "No way that guy saw me, I call bullcrap!"

He he. The title made me laugh. Maybe I should get my head out of the gutter(or worse).
I do a lot of the typical things. Like when I need to see around a corner, instead of inching my character forward in-game, I'll crane my neck towards the side of the monitor, then realize what i'm doing when the viewpoint doesn't change at all. I'll also become so immersed in an environment(Morrowind, ftw), that when i finally get off the game i'll wonder how it suddenly got so bright and sunny outside.
Oh, and I also tend to lean towards the screen when I'm playing FPS's. I'll lean gradually forwards and push my chair back, to the point that i'm in a very awkward position and permanently burning the pixels into my eyes. I've actually fallen out of my chair and smacked my face into the keyboard, several times, cuz of that.

i sometimes make my boyfriend laugh by the way i sit sometimes when i'm gaming. I hold the controller over my head while i'm slouching back with my legs over the armrest... I dont even notice i'm sitting like that until he points it out!
