Weird things you hate

Large amounts of ketchup on just about anything usually annoys me for some reason. Especially on hot dogs, and especially when it's smothered all of it instead of in one nice streak. The only time ketchup doesn't bother me is when it's on french fries or chicken nuggets. I actually even dip my fries in ketchup.

I hate the sound my neck makes if I attempt to lean it backwards. I leaned my head backwards once and surprised my mom with the sound. She seriously thought I injured myself greatly, but no, it's just the sound my neck makes... I should probably get that looked at or something.

Can you explain why?

I hate cellphones. Everyone always lets that thing go first..
- When I'm in a conversation (face to face) and the phone rings, I immediately get cut off. Often even happen mid-sentence
- When a conversation stops for more than 4 seconds, people always check text messages or start playing games

Cellphones make people behave like antisocial dicks that can't live without it for 10 friggin' minutes.

I always challenge people with the following:

Turn the damn thing off. Put it in a drawer and don't touch it for 3 or 4 days

Not once had anybody even accepted this. The standard reply is "I can't live without it"

YES YOU FUCKING CAN.

Anyway: I don't have one, I don't want one.

I thought cellphones were a load of crap until just recently.

I started going out more and it's just really convenient being able to text people to tell them when you've arrived and where you should meet up, and a lot of the time it saves running back home to talk to someone on MSN to ask them if they're free to hang out. It's really convenient :3

Texting for me is just like portable MSN, and if you're out of the house a lot it's super useful.

I could live without it for a while if I really had to, but I'd hate to miss out on suprise cuddles or somethin by not having it x3

I can sort of see the use for one.
And I must say that it's not so much the phones, but the users that bug me. Allthough the smartphones these days can do more than anybody realizes.
But imho, if you make decent appointments and stick to them, nothing will go wrong. 10/15 years ago cellphones were very rare. And everybody seemed to do allright. What changed?

For some reason, the right combination of words can provoke hatred in me.

For example, in New Vegas, I saw a character named "Jean-Baptiste Cutting", and my first reaction was to enter vats and obliterate his head with a sniper round.

Don't know why, I just hated that name.

The weird thing that I hate is sort of related, but not exactly the same thing.

I hate the trend of combining words and names together, which is a trend that the media and advertising firms tend to be jumping on left and right these days.

I'm talking about words that are supposed to sound chic but instead make the user sound like they're trying too hard to be clever, and instead make the user look stupid. In the end they make things even more complicated because you have to explain what the words mean if the hearer has never heard them before--you might as well have just said the explanation first off instead, because by having to clarify the meaning, you've subverted your intent of saving time through saying fewer syllables.

Examples include words like "staycation" (stay-at-home-vacation), Subway's "meltastic" (melt + fantastic), and "sexting" (sexy texting). It's probably just a nit-pick, but I think the trend is shallow and pathetic.

I also think using the word "sick" to describe something that you're enthusiastic about is nauseatingly idiotic.

Events where is infested with cosplays from people from anime... These people don't see what works perfectly fine in a anime or a game don't work in real life, only makes fool of them selfs?


I pass very away from those places. Except the recent Brasil Game Show where i could get to play Mortal Kombat 9, what my love for fighting games doesn't make me do?

Those bastards at my school who refuse to close the door on their way out, you see I like to hang out at break/lunch time at one of the doors leading outside. I usually stand inside and there's always a breeze blowing in. Ireland is a cold country dammit.

To be honest, people/large crowds in general bug me, I just get fed up being near them. Noisy...yap yap yap and if the conv topic is moronic, even worse,learn to shut the fck up damit, also most of their behaviour. I sometimes just wish i could get a 2by4 with nails in it and smack them in the head(mildest of imagined scenarios). The list of people with whom i'd be willing to spend more then 3h together is rather short.

Same man but my fear stems from the fact that I broke my ankle while playing on one . The brake was quite bad and had me out of action for a while .

Nowadays I can't even sit on the edge of one without getting freaked out and when my friends are on them I fear for their safety which is

oh I forgot one thing, the sound and feel of scratching paper and walls

yep, same with me, it's horrible, like metal against metal or the classic chalkboard.

And just thinking about the sound of scraping ice pops against your teeth makes me cringe.
