Recently I've been having weird experiences with streaming videos. At random intervals the video seems to freeze momentarily, along with the audio, thus creating a strange buzzing noise. It seems to happen more often on longer videos. Once it caused my browser to crash, and one time it even appeared to crash my entire computer. I don't have the slightest clue as to what the problem is. It seems to have started out of the blue. I did try and Google search to find a solution, but I had no idea what phrase to actually search for. "Video freezing" obviously leading to nothing useful. It seems to happen with different types of video players, so I don't think I need an update for anything. And even if I did surely I would be automatically prompted, like I usually am.
So does anyone have any idea what's going on and how to fix it? Thanks.
