I tried to turn my 360 on but thanks to some strange failure wich makes the console unable to start the game. I put a game in the tray and close it, the console tries to read it but fails miserably and acts like there isn't a disk inserted and I'm only able to open the tray again and again and again.

Anyways, sounds like your 360 is screwed. Send it in for repairs.

That's the disc-reading head thing. It's fucked. Mine did that. I wouldn't tamper with it as it may void the warranty. Just ship it off to be fixed and add another curse to the veritable stream that Microsoft is and should be receiving.

Clean the disk, clear dust out of the drive, and turn it off for half an hour. That's what I do and it works most of the time.

This has happened to me a lot too, Let me tell you a little story
At first i placed L4D2 in the tray, and pushed it in, it did not work, so i repeated.
Didnt work. Repeat. Didnt work, so i cleaned the disk, then tried x11 and THEN i got a genious Idea. Mass Effect is the best game i had in my shelves at that moment, so by holy god i snatched it, placed it, pulled it out after it worked, then placed L4D2

Moral of this story is : Mass Effect fixes your xbox.

Good luck, and if you didnt buy Mass Effect, do so.

The problem with the 260s was that due to the missing 100 degrees, the disc drive is not a full circle, you need a special disc with the 100 degree chunk taken out as it cannot spin circular discs.

If you havn't read the other posts or caught on your Title says "Weird Xbox two60" instead of 360 you can edit your thread to fix it,unless you could care less about your grammar like others have claimed when similar issues occur.

No Idea about the no disc reading thing though send it in if it's under warranty like someone mentioned already.

So all of you guys are saying that I'm pretty mutch fucked right now?
Try starting the machine with the game already inside the tray. Mine does this sometimes, between what I just mentioned and opening and closing it over and over or putting in a different game first to test it usually gets it to cooperate. Did you try talking gently to it?

I treat my Xbox like a full part of the family, he even gets to sit next to me at the dinner table.

Yeah that happened to me too. It started off just as a minor thing but gradually got worse until the system wouldn't read discs at all. Send it to get fixed or live in a hell without games for eternity.

It first happened when I put the new Prince of Persia game in my system... PoP killed my xbox...
and grape juice killed my controllers

I'm broke sadly, though it is in the bargain bin for 20 bucks right now.
No wonder youre broke, you don't have Mass Effect, morally and financially you should be dead for it. Get it, and like Scrooch Mcducks lucky 10-penny, you will find hapiness from a small object.

Now you see. This is what you get when you buy the console with the highest documented hardware failure rate of the current generation.
