Er, ponytails are MUCH girlier than long hair left down. It just looks odd on a guy.
No offence.
Meh. Someone tells me so after actually seeing me, I might think something of it. And I'm not at all convinced my hair looks any less odd free, if it does now.
So it does look odd? xD

But, seriously, what's the point in growing your hair long if you're just gonna hide it in a ponytail?
IF it does!

I don't know, what's the point of keeping cutting your hair when you can just hide it in a ponytail?
For appearance's sake?
It's very important nowadays.

Plus, when I see a guy with a ponytail, I immediately think "stoner/waster/loser/douche". I don't mean to be prejudiced - that's just what my mind registers when I see it.
I'm not a stoner.
I........didn't say you were.
I just said that that's what I associate with guys with ponytails.
You do realize I have not been serious since this discussion began, right?

Though in all seriousness, you do have some weird issues with ponytails.
Not issues, I just don't like them. :D

I was dressed goth for a party, complete with face makeup and black leather pants and coat, and was standing in line with my booze at the store. the little boy in front of me looked up, got wide eyed, and asked his mom in a stage whisper: "Mommy, is that man Satan?"

"Your eyes are sooo dark! Like the devil!" From some freshman who claimed that his mum taught him all of her Wiccan magic. My eyes are pretty dark though.

"Did you lose weight?" // "Have you always been that skinny?" From anybody who sees me in formfitting clothes. I tend to wear really baggy shirts and jumpers, I guess everybody assumes I'm kind of chubby?

"You have a well-shaped head/face for baldness" was the consensus when I shaved it all off a couple of days ago. Then came the inevitable comparisons to Sinead O'Connor and Natalie Portman. I was hoping for at least one "Sigourney Weaver in Alien3", but no such luck.

~DUDE! You look like the Cheshire Cat!

~Mr.DiSalvo, are you a stoner?

And many, many more!

...My friends say "dude" a lot, apparently. XD

From a rather attractive girl at a party: "You look like one of those Hobbits from Lord of the Rings...just a lot taller"

Assuming she's not talking about Sam, I'm okay with this, I suppose. Many people have commented on my lime-green eyes though, saying that I have "wolfish" eyes.

The only comments about my appearance I can recall are one time being told my hair looked nice when it really looked like shit, and being told I look like Penn Jillette on more than one occasion. Granted it was by the same person, but the point stands. My hair isn't black, though.

Actually, now that I think back, one guy gave me the nickname "Dead" which he used to call me often for a while. I recall being amused.

I guess I just looked (look?) that tired at times.

That's your problem though, not his.

And to me, a ponytail isn't "hiding" you hair, it's just having it in a different shape.

(whilst enjoying a drink) You looked so dark and broody from across the room.

(by two girls behind me in a supermarket) he has such a cute and squeezable butt.

Oh and a girl who dumped me just started crying, stroking my hair and saying "ur so pretty" o_O

Also several people have said I look like Paul Rudd from Role models. Which i don't really see.

"You have a pretty flat chest" from a rude person who mistook me for a girl from the side because of my long hair.

I've been told several times that I resemble a husky/wolf, mostly due to my dark brown hair and bright blue eyes.

I like wolves though, so it's fine by me.

I have been told once before that I "... look like a goddamn tank."

I am short and heavily muscled, but I have no treads nor a 120mm cannon.

A few years ago I went to a paintball game with a lot of friends, and one of my female friends brought her sister along, who is a few years older than us. The two of us (older sister and myself) were sitting in the back of one of the cars on the way back, when she looked at my legs and complimented me on my "Child-Bearing Hips."

To this day, I don't know what the hell to make of that remark, but it's good for a laugh

Apparently, I have Zach Braff's lips, and the general appearance of David Mitchell.
Well, personally, I think that wouldn't be too bad- if I was actually a guy.

I've been told on many occasions by several different people that I look like I'm a werewolf. I take it as a compliment.
