"Welcome back" bit

I didn't see a thread on this yet, so here goes; PSN's free stuff is apparently online, but trying it some things disappeared with apparently no effect and a swarm of errors. Thoughts?

EDIT: to be specific, I tried "free game 1" and "free game 2" then they vanished, the games I picked not to be found. Might want to hold off on trying that, I guess.

Holy jesus it's back online? hell yeah I haven't tried it yet but there is a story about it being up so I'll try it and see.

Edit: Just tried it and it worked for me, and I am downloading the games now

Yeah... Don't try it yet as it disappears and counts you as getting them. In your recent transactions it shows up as getting the "Game 1" and "Game 2" for $0, but I never had the option to hit circle to go back and select one of the games on the list. I assume I'm going to have to go through the giant cluster-fuck of tech-support to get them now. Great.

Even before all this bullshit the PSN was poorly designed compared to xbox live but jeebus!

EDIT: OK checked the playstation blog, and if you get a fuck-up like I did, you can go into Account Management>Transation Management>Services List>SCEA Promos to select the games. phew...

Offering you guys sympathy cookies. I only had to deal with the bank account end of it (other person on my account had a PS3 for about a month and trashed it, but he did give them our info), but I can imagine how frustrating it must be for this to be Fucking up too.
