So, you're dead. Yup, times up, your time on this earth has come to an end. Now its only you and a black eternity, the great empty abyss that is the grave and

oh wait...why's everyone wearing helmets?

Assume that when you die, something other than what you expect is there to greet you. If you're a christian, Mohammed is there at the pearly gates to greet you, if you're a jew, then pray to God that Hades isn't an antisemite. Atheists get their pick of the litter. What's the first thing you'd do, think, or say?

As for me, upon entering Odin's hall and seeing everyone feasting and battling each other.

"Thank God I had them bury my battleaxe with me."

So because im Christian, I see Mohammed...

"Sup man. Hey, is the Islam of my time the same as when you started it? or did it get changed along the way?"

I'd assume that most people would die and realize that they're six feet under.

I'd ask why the hell I was chosen to get into Valhalla... what the hell kind of warrior am I? Are you're standards really that low Odin?

If I went somewhere else I'd probably say "huh, didn't expect that" and go on about my merry afterlife way.

They had an weird one off issue of Tarot: Witch of the Black Rose where this comes up.

But yeah, even if you got your own religions' afterlife, if it was your religion from even 50-100 years ago, they won't be terribly happy with you...or people from all those centuries before then, for that matter. Your almost certainly screwed that way.

And, it's much more likely that your religion isn't the right one at all, given how many of them there are, with none being in the majority.

Yeah, if there is an afterlife, you're almost certainly wrong about what it is like.

Its supposed to be a place you don't expect to end up in. I guess for you that means 72 female virgins ;p

I'd have him pose for me while I sketched a picture of him, like that one scene in Titanic.

Unfortunately, I can only draw stick figures.

What if you die and get sent into a neverending game of Capture the Flag with no goal and no thoughts other than to take the flag?
So you storm into their base and take their flag, then you get shot in the face. And respawn. And do it all over again, and again, and again...

I'm not sure if that would be awesome or scary...

I'd more than likely stay on Earth, walking the lands as an immortal. People in my family are known for their stubbornness and unwillingness to die easily. It would be quite a twist to find out you can't die at all, wouldn't it?
