So,
recently, my Xbox has been having some problems.
Every time i try to play BF:BC2 online it says that the disc is unreadable. every once in a while it will let me play but after maybe 15 minutes it will kick me out mid-game and tell me the same thing. It will also do this same thing with my copy of GoW2. The single player s work fine, but when i try to join a multiplayer game it wont let me. my friend recomended i install the game to my hard drive, but it still does the same thing, and blames it on an unreadable disc. I keep good care of my disc as to not scratch them, and I don't move my Xbox while it is running.
So tell me, is it simply the disc is scratched, is there something wrong with my Xbox itself, or am i just retarded and don't know how to work technology?

I think I may have heard that such a thing could mean a RRoD soon...
(Liking Johnny's idea, check his first)

You still under Warranty?

Could possibly be the lens is dirty or scratched.

You could try running a lens cleaner. It's basically a special disc with a small brush on it.

Then no big worries.

If it's a problem my fellow Escapists can fix, then that will be grand.
If not, you can probably get it replaced with a working one.

Big smiles my friend, you should be fine in the end result.

Try rubbing the bottom with some stuff called T-cut, it can really help if you want to play a game that either doesn't play or freezes a lot

I have used it countless times for my ps1 games that don't work too great but it might be the xbox's problem, if you have a friend ask if you can put the disc in their xbox and see if it runs

Hope that helps buddy
