I agree with you. After playing Modern Warfare 2 quite a bit since launch, I was pleasantly surprised when I picked up BC2. It's what a modern war shooter SHOULD be, as it takes more skill and teamwork than MW2 and feels like your on a real battlefield, with vehicles and explosions going off all around you. It's just... better.

But going back to the XP complaint: seriously, you need to get 14,000+ XP just to get a red dot sight (although the irons are good, I loves me some red dot) , and you need to get to level WTFBBQ just to get any worthwhile per- my bad, specializations.

If you do the class achievements, like for assault handing out boxes, or medkits as Medic, you will level your kits alot faster. Also, with the whole "everyone playing recon", haven't you noticed the abundance of m60 wielding Rambo medics running around? I played yesterday and they seemed to have increased in number from before.

Yeah, they're fixing that soon though so you won't have them dominating absolutely everyone. I do like my M60 though.

I never snipe. They made sniping such a ***** until you get the GOL. The bullets drop in painfully unpredictable ways and most of the sniper rifles rarely do 1 shot kills to compensate for that... until you get the GOL.

OT: Indeed, it is an incredibly fun game. It's just a very large scale yet it still feels fast and fun. Overall it's probably better than MW2. On another note, for some reason the inexplicable rage I feel when I die in MW2 is nonexistent. I'm not sure why, but I'm simply much more calmer when playing BC2.
