It's not often I do topics like this, but I had a really, really strange day today.

First, I met a friend I didn't expect to see ever again (because of military things), and then I just found out that one of my better friends in High School was a lesbian and also I found out she was pregnant and had her baby last night.

Okay, so it wasn't that odd if you think about it.

So, how about you guys? Any odd experiences or such today?

Nope not today, but around last week I met a friend of mine in the middle of Florida at a random rest stop off the interstate. She doesn't even live in Florida.

Personally, I would say lesbians having children is slightly odd. Care to explain further?

OT: Nope, ordinary day so far.

Nothing too exciting today... Stopped another of Lex Luthor's schemes, made out with Lois Lane for a bit, flew into space, smiled for the camera... You know, the usual.

I made an exceptionally tasty sandwich for lunch not more then an hour ago. Other then that, it's been a dull and unproductive day.

Artificial insemination? Unless she had a bout of heterosexuality one night and forgot to use a morning after pill.

OT: My father actually opted out of Fantasy Football this year, which is strange because he always plays.

Captcha: whoa there

What? What did I do?

Nothing odd in my real life, though my dreams always have wierd shit in them.

Two nights ago, I dreamt that I drank some "Azerbaijani Hard Liquor".

I didn't know they made hard liquor in Azerbaijan. Tasted all good and strong, though.

Today I shared a large cup of coke at my friend work with two straws... We probably looked like gay versions of those cheesy 50's kids at the milk bar sharing their milkshakes.
But I enjoyed it.

It was an odd suprise to receive my Revoltech Super Galaxy gurren Lagann in the mail so soon. I thought that might not be odd enough, but I thought the OP might appreciate this.

I wish this was asked a few months ago so I could respond with a similar "my cousin's daughter who's 22 days older than me just had a baby. I didn't even know she was pregnant."

I woke up in time to eat breakfast. That is odd.

There was enough food in the fridge to actually have breakfast - also odd.

I made a bacon sandwich and offered one to my flatmate, and she said no. Fucking insane. She loves bacon! Perhaps she is ill...

Yeah, that was it.

I couldn't remember the actual term for it, so I was hoping someone like you would come along and say it. :p

That and I didn't want to bother her anymore than I needed to, because of obvious reasons. I'd imagine asking how she got pregnant whenever I had already done so previously would be...irritating for a new mother.

Well the only thing odd today was that when I went to work, the remaining delivered boxes from last Tuesday that I didn't open were still there today unopened.
I mean I was busy with other unpacking products stuff and by the time I was going to unpack those, it was the end of my shift so I assume my colleages were going to do those when I went off.
Granted I didn't get told off or anything like that as it seen the whole moving the tolietry products to the BBQ area (so we got more food area) was the main priority yesterday. Don't worry I finish the rest of those boxes today.

That certainly is odd.

I can't ever manage to wake up early enough to consider what I'm eating breakfast. And even when I do wake up early enough, I tend to either feel sick or just not hungry.

I've always found myself unable to eat bacon unless it's cooked EXACTLY to the right fat:crunchiness ratio.

At a guess, are you a teenager? I can't be bothered checking profiles or whatnot :p

I had the exact same problem all through my teens, an inability to get up on time and when I did, the very idea of food made me want to throw up. I don't know if it's something to do with puberty or just my body being weird, but as I've gotten older I've found myself much more capable of eating when I wake up, and in fact if I don't I'll be cranky and falling asleep by about 11.

...Jesus, I've gotten old, haven't I? :-(
