I thought you where talking about the American Civil war for a minute I was confused. As for the NBA not a big sports fan so I can't say much about that.

I think there's a salary cap in the NBA that is not in the MLB so asserting that the Heat bought a championship like the Yankees supposedly do is incorrect.
I've always thought it was kind of suspect how 3 of the best players in the NBA are on one team but Spurs gave em a run for their money and I enjoyed the final game. Was hoping Spurs would win as I'm from Texas but Heat is just the better team right now.
I think he's referencing the fact that the New York Yankees notoriously overpay their players, meaning no player has a price point too high for them to afford. Meaning they have played in and won the most World Series' of any baseball team by a very wide margin.
From what I understand, the Miami Heat basketball team has just bought up a few superstar players, and apparently just won themselves some sort of significant tournament. So apparently their situation is now similar to the New York Yankees.
