I don't know about the "we're done here" thing, but I've noticed on XBox Live there's a lot of people who keep saying "I'm done" over and over again when someone's doing better than them. They never seem to actually quit the game or anything...Just:
"OH MY GOD! HE JUST SHOT ME! I'm done."
"I'VE BEEN SHOT AGAIN! I'm done!"
"This kid just killed me before I killed him! I'm done. I AM DONE."
"OH MY GOD! HE JUST SHOT ME! I'm done."

There is always the option to simply not respond (after all, who re-quotes somebody to continue a discussion if the first quote was ignored, just to get them to respond?) Although this is very true. More often than not, if I do not respond to a post (assuming it's in a debate), it's because I am starting to feel like I'm bashing my head against a wall, for all the good my responses are doing. So I drop the discussion to keep my sanity (and forum health metre) intact.

Excluding that last one we could probably make a decent game out of this. Have a dedicated thread for people to post in and record their progress. The quality of the average post could be quite severely impaired though, depending on how popular this game gets.
If someone is so annoying and/or insultingly stupid that that person drives me to just like that abandoning a conversation just to keep my IQ from turning into a countdown then... Frankly, I don't give a damn how I look in their eyes. I don't do it to make a cool exit while the world burns. I do it to make ANY exit because OHMYGODTHISISSTUPID!!!

I got your context right HERE! This is the thing to say to someone who's head is so far up their own ass that they can't hear you reason with them, so you cut your losses and look for either more open- or like-minded people to converse with and not punch in the ironic facial hair.Ohlookit said:
