Werewolf book

Hey guys, I am looking for a book where the main character is a werewolf, but most of the books I find are either twilight, or rip offs of twilight. I was wondering, do you guys have any suggestions for a good book with a werewolf character?

I'm writing one. Werewolves are usually painted as a villain. So you'll be trugged to find a decent one that isn't a horror novel.

There aren't that many. I had the same search a few years back, and while vmpires and suchlike built up a massive folowing in the Victorian era (Dracula, Frankenstein, the traditional Hammer classics), no one ever really wrote a werewolf book.

Googled 'werewolf books' and the first link was a list of books on Amazon.com about werewolves. Romance, sci-fi, etc. I don't know. Would need to look each up separately.

I tried looking at the library, but once, again, all i got was romance, like one a about a werefox who seduced men and stole their life force, but she fell in love with a werewolf GRU agent, and books that just tell the facts

I dare say that with the release of the rebooted Universal film The Wolfman coming up, there'll be a bok tie-in. That should suit your desires. Otherwise, I can't think of anything that isn't romance or teen fiction. Sorry .

There might be some novels linked to the old Werewolf rpg (World of darkness). I remember seeing some several years ago.

What is World of Darkness about?

I would imagine that you could find a few good ones within the World of Darkness setting, by White Wolf. No clue on specifics, but it's a setting (for RPGs) that has werewolves regularly on the protagonist side. There's probably something to your interest there, but you'll have to search for it manually, I've never looked for such a book.

What is World of Darkness about?

ah. Ninja'd. Anyway, World of Darkness is the same setting that Vampire: The Masquerade takes place in. Basically, there are a bunch of various supernatural creatures running around in what is otherwise a modern Earth. It's normally a 'drama' system, but from time to time monsters just have to throw down and rip each other apart. Human casualties are often high, particularly because the monsters don't like humans knowing about them (and so kill the ones that do and aren't supposed to).

If you can find it, there is a book called "When will you rage" its a collection of short stories set in the White Wolf, Werewolf the Apocalypse universe. has some good stories in it but it is about ten years old now so could be hard to find
